Convenient for Road Trips
Comfort Inn & Suites Savannah AirportThis is right off I-95 but behind some other hotels, so it wasn't noisy or unsafe to walk the dogs by the ample grassy areas on hotel property. All dog friendly rooms are on the first floor, and our room was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Good Road Trip Stop
Red Roof Inn Roanoke RapidsThe rooms were clean, check in and check out quick and efficient, well located next to I-95 but not noisy, and no pet fee! We were passing through, not visiting Roanoke Rapids, so I cannot speak to if this is close to the rapids park, but I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and Dog Friendly
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Emporia VAThere was an extra fee (which we expected) for us having two dogs. This is a convenient hotel off of I-95, so a great place to rest when on a long road trip. All dog friendly rooms are located on the first floor. However, the hotel itself had multiple issues, such as peeling walls, one of the side exit doors was broken, and our sink didn't have a drain (just a hole for the pipe). I wouldn't stay here again unless I had to.
