Good choice
Quality Inn Cedar City - University AreaA nice place to stay, and they allow the dog to stay alone in the room. Only problem is that in order to find grass for dog relief time it is necessary to visit the nearby places that have nice landscaping. I’m a repeat stayer with two Bichons.

Alpine MotelRoom was nice, clean. Ask office about details for using heat or refrigerator, which may be preset. Nice owner.

Fine but not great
Rocker InnThe room was fine and seemed clean. Worried me that the dogs spent a long time sniffing around on the floor which was carpet.

Modest ok room
Virgin River Hotel and CasinoNo special dog amenity except they allow modest stay in room alone time for dog. Otherwise, the bare bones of a very low-priced room. Clean and warm.

Review
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham at Zion Park/SpringdaleI checked in after dark in a sleepy off-season National Park gateway town. They collected my dog money and sent me on my my way to the room. No frills, everything was fine except missing breakfast which was over and cleared away by 8:30 am.
