OYO Hotel Bald Knob AR Hwy 64Total shack single story behind am abandoned restaurant with a bunch of less than savory people hanging out front. I backed right out, didn't even go inside, booked at LA Quinta down the road.
The TripAdvisor reviews spoke of cockroaches, stained linens and furniture, broken windows, guess I didn't research enough. Worth giving up my $49 to not stay there.

Ramada should renovate
Ramada by Wyndham Angola/Fremont AreaThe multiple side doors had no security locks, unlatched and open to anyone. Room kind of musty. Surprised a cockroach when I turned on bathroom light. Toilet wouldn't completely flush half the time. Literally could not turn off shower, turned handle with no results. What a dump.

Convenient
Candlewood Suites Tyler an IHG HotelClean room, friendly staff and other guests, kitchenette set up was nice even if we didn't take advantage. Would definitely stay again.

For what it is
Motel 6 Attalla ALYou wouldn't think of a Motel 6 as 5 star, but when you put value in the equation, this earned it. Clean, freshly painted room, friendly staff, convenient to the highway, easy parking in view of room, all at budget price. Even a treat for the pup. Perfect for a one night quick stop on a long trip.
