Not very pet Friendly

Greybull Motel

I would not recommend this motel to anyone that plans to bring their dog along. The place looks really nice in the front, great green front yard area and I was thinking how great it would be. The first "rule" the owner gave me when I checked in was that dogs are not allowed on the grass area in the front of the motel. Dogs cannot use the grass in the next door neighbor's house either. The owner then took me to show me where my dog would be going. It was in the dirt alley that was between the motel and building next door. All gravel, no grass, and no one has cleaned up after their pet in a long time. It was gross!!

We also stayed in a room that was down that back alley way. There was no window to look outside to, the window was up high and all you saw was the alley way. The temperature outside was 98 degrees. The room had a "fan" type AC unit that was set at 72 degrees and could not be changed by the people in the room. My dog panted all night (he is a 70 lb. lab) and my husband and I sweated all night.
This place should not be considered pet friendly. And there should be signs posted on the grassy area that inform guests that dogs cannot use the lawn.

Nice place to stay

Quality Inn

We stayed here for one night with our 70 lb. dog. The staff was really nice, room was great, and overall it was a great place to stay overnight. The pet area really wasn't a pet area, you just had to find a place to take your dog to potty and then find a trash can outside somewhere to place what you picked up. Not too big of a deal.

One night stay OK

Rodeway Inn Rapid City

We stayed for two nights. We had a dog and there was no pet area to speak of. You had to walk your dog to the grass behind the emergency clinic next door. Then you had to find a place to put your poop bag. We were also on the second floor, which is not good if you have an older dog. The side entrance door did not secure itself unless you totally pulled it shut, anyone could just walk into the hotel this way. The mirrors in the room were all smeared as if they hadn't been cleaned for a while. Otherwise the room was OK. It was quite so that was one good thing. The staff was polite and nice as well.

An OK place to stay

Comfort Inn Sioux City South

This place was just OK to stay at. We did an overnight with our dog. There was no pet area to speak of and no place to really place the dog waste you picked up. The smoke alarm in one of the rooms chirped all night. We told the front desk but no one fixed it so all night long we kept hearing it. The place is being remodeled and some of the rooms had plastic sheets sort of hanging on the outside of them. Not pretty and sort of creepy looking. A sign should be posted if guests are to know that work is being done in the place, otherwise it was a mess.

Awesome Place!

Audrey's Motel

We truly enjoyed staying at Audrey's Motel for our overnight stay. The owners are awesome and there is like 5 acres for your dog to run in. Great motel!

Nice place to stay

Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Pine Bluffs

We enjoyed our overnight stay very much. New hotel, very clean and updated interiors. Only issue was that on BringFido it states that any size dogs are welcome. When I got there, they said 40 lbs or less. I have a 70 lb lab. They let us stay with no issue, however, it could be an issue if they stick to their rules. Not a good thing if you show up late with a large dog and they won't take you. Also, there is no designated pet area. If you want your dog to have grass to potty on you need to walk across the road and use the lawns of the local school. The Inn needs to get a better "pet friendly area" including some grass.

An OK place to stay

Best Western Dunmar Inn

Hotel was OK for a one overnight stay. The dog area was nice however, there were a lot of people who didn't pick up after their pets so you had to really watch where you were walking. It was a 98 degree day when we arrived and the air conditioner in our room never really worked. We sweated all night long, even the dog panted most of the night. Shower control was awful and overall the room really need some type of upgrade to the appearance. I would not stay here again.

Nice place for an overnight trip

Quality Inn

Nice, clean room and pet friendly. Could use a better place for pets to go walking and potty, but it was OK. Breakfast was good. We would stay here again with our dog.
