Henry’s Happy!
Duke City DoggeryFinding a dog groomer in a city you’ve just moved to isn’t easy. After taking my poodle mix Henry to two other groomers in Albuquerque, I tried Duke City Doggery. Liz gave him a great haircut and I’ve been going back ever since. As dog groomers go, their prices aren’t cheap but very reasonable. Best of all Henry leaves looking like a million bucks!

Nice Place, Bed Too Soft
Best Western Plus Wendover InnI liked this hotel, the staff were polite and helpful, the breakfast was good and my dog Henry was made to feel welcome. My only complaint was that the bed was so soft I woke up with a stiff neck. Not a big deal except that I had to drive for 11 hours through snow with a painful neck. If you don’t mind a very soft bed you’ll like this place but if you, like me, prefer a firm bed, you may want to reconsider.

Clean hotel, front desk staff needs help
La Quinta by Wyndham Albuquerque WestPros: The room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location near the interstate. Cons: While the staff were courteous and helpful the management needs to make sure they have at least two people to do check ins between 3-6 pm. The line got waaay too long with only one person working behind the front desk. Also the guest laundry washer wasn’t working.
