Good dog park nearby
Comfort Inn Owen SoundRoom was fine. But at least as important, there is a good dog park on 1st Avenue E near 12th Street.
Good location for walking dog
Best Western Plus Guildwood InnReally liked the fact that duvet was not super thick. So we didn't have to crank AC down to 60 degrees to be comfortable.
Door would not lock but dog didn't care
Comfort Inn St. CatharinesFine for the dog but outside (patio) door would not lock and was difficult to slide.
Always great - But expensive.
Waterfront Hotel Downtown BurlingtonOn the waterfront (duh) with lots of walking opportunities. Might not be there long though; there's a proposal to build a very tall high-rise on the site.
Fine for dog, okay for people
Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Monticello an IHG HotelNice to be able to sit in lobby with glass of wine and dog.
No elevators
Hotel BakerTry to come "in season." Maybe the restaurant will be open and there won't be a bus load of Catholic priests occupying all the eating areas.
Fine except for the parking
West Park GardensIt's in the middle of a neighborhood with no parking except on the street. And even there you might not be able to find a parking place in front of the house. Details, like parking access and the fact that the room is up a steep staircase were not indicated until it was too late to cancel without penalty.
Great hotel, but they chose bad location for dogs
Wyndham GettysburgThey put us in room that was a long way from elevator. Fortunately our dogs did not have an "accident" on the way.
Great Hotel, Great for Dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham Clifton ParkThey gave us ground floor unit close to door.
