Great place to stay
Red Roof Inn & Suites HazletonEven though this was not next to I-81, it was easy to get to and easy to get back on the highway. Very low key, and very accommodating. Shelley was real nice, and Sonnie called after checkout to see how my pup enjoyed her stay. I will definitely come back next year when I travel this way again.
Great location
Candlewood Suites HAZLETON an IHG HotelReally liked this place, but unfortunately the room was on the ground floor, four floors down from the lobby. So we had to use the elevator many times, and it was very hard to get my pup in one. Next time I stay, I will ask for a room on the lobby level, and hope they will be accommodating. No breakfast served, but good complimentary coffee. Each room has a sink, fridge, oven, microwave and equipped with cookware. Unfortunately there were no eating utensils, but they gave me plastic ones to use. The restaurant next door, Damenti’s, was great, beautiful view of the valley. Pricey, but the food was delicious.
Great stay
Comfort Inn & Suites Statesville - MooresvilleLocation was great. When outside in the large pet area, you can hear highway traffic, but couldn’t hear a thing when inside the room. Very clean, nice hot breakfast. Will definitely stay again.
Great spot/no fuss
Motel 6-Martinsburg WVSpacious room, pet-friendly furnishings. Nothing fancy, absolutely suitable for a night stopover with your dog. Lots of lawn area! Friendly staff.
Convenient & Clean; Good for Pets
La Quinta by Wyndham FlorenceJust off I-81, convenient and surprisingly quiet. Big patch of lawn out back for the pups. I was assigned to a room with easy access to back entrance (key pass required). No carpeting, which is great for dogs. Clean, contemporary furnishings. Comfy bed. Nice continental breakfast to get you going on the next stretch of your road trip.
