Very dog friendly hotel
Timberlake HotelA rare hotel without a pet fee, and with new large rooms. My only complaint is not with the hotel but their restaurant across the parking lot that has a nice outdoor patio, but doesn't allow dogs.

Great patio for Fido
Village InnWe were surprised to discover the patio area at Village Inn Pizza. They welcomed our dog with water, and we enjoyed a good meal.

Check your room thoroughly
Days Inn RockfordThey had availability for a dog room at short notice. We found bed bugs in our first room. They switched us to another, which was OK. Thin doors and no real breakfast.

Fun place to stay
Riverside InnEach of the rooms has a unique theme. We were in the chicken coop, which had clever details. There is a park along Sauk River to walk dogs.

Outdoor pati
Five GuysFive Guys shares an outdoor patio with Mod Pizza that has nice lighting. Nice place to take our dog 6 months of the year

Typical Day's Inn
Days Inn EllisGiven the high rating I was hoping/expecting a more welcoming environment for my dog. The hotel could use a deep cleaning.

Good rates for dogs
Baker's Sunset Bay ResortReasonable rates for both people and dogs. The rooms dedicated to dogs are in the older building, so somewhat worn. Nice large sidewalk nearby

Nice remodel
Riverview Inn and Suites, Ascend Hotel CollectionHotel was recently remodeled. Area around hotel has been hit hard by COVID. There is a nice river trail across the street and north of hotel or across river Bridge to walk dog.
