Okay I guess
Drury Inn & Suites Atlanta MariettaWe didn't want to leave our dog unattended in the room, so we brought her with us to the lobby when grabbing something to eat (they offer a free buffet dinner which is pretty good). We sit far away from everyone, in case there are people who don't like dogs. The front desk person told us that although our dog was well behaved, their policy is that dogs are not allowed in any public areas, so we brought our food back to our room, which was okay. I understand this is their policy. It is their hotel, and they are free to make the rules. It just seems dog un-friendly. We just finished driving across the entire country and they are the only hotel we stayed at (including other Drury hotels), who said this.
Good dog hotel
Best Western Sunridge Inn & Conference CenterIt was fine as far as bringing our dog goes. And, the staff were all super nice. The room had one of those old fashioned hotel heating/cooling units that either blasts heat or cold - no happy in between. It was chilly outside so we put on the heat, then the room got super hot, so we turned it off. Then the room got cold, so I had to turn it back on. Rinse/repeat all night.
Wonderful stay
Best Western Plus High Country InnThis is a great hotel if you bring your dog. They have 2 dog parks, fenced in with privacy fencing. The dog parks have lots of grass, benches, and a big tree, and poop bags provided (although some people still can’t be bothered to pick up after their dog). They also have a really nice walking trail next to the dog park - a relaxing environment with or without your dog.Their restaurant was super busy - must be one of the better places in town. If we ever come through Ogden again, we will definitely stay here.
