Great stay!

We chose this location since everything in Billings was extremely overpriced. This was one of the cheaper places that took dogs and we were very impressed with the hotel. The front desk was a little dated and didn’t expect anything from the rooms but when we got to our room, it was really nice. Updated, very very clean and comfortable. Some of the dog friendly rooms we have stayed in across the states in our travels, you can tell are dog friendly with stains, and gross floors and damaged furniture. You would never be able to tell in this room.

The dogs were very happy as were we. Also a decent breakfast in the morning which is included and the from check in staff were friendly and great (Kat). Sue also helped us with parking at the back of the property because we had a trailer and the parking lot was very full, rather than having to park on the street. Only downfall (not of the hotel) was that we got in around 9:45 and nothing in the town was open to eat except McDonalds. Everything seems to close up fairly early (and it was a Saturday). Would recommend 100% to stay again.

Didn’t sleep

After driving 14 hours from Canada with a trailer and my two dogs, I got in to La Quinta very late (2am) and my wife had called ahead to make sure that there would be someone there to check me in. That was the only good thing about this experience. After getting myself and the dogs settled, people were partying and yelling and screaming all night long, just as they would quiet down and I would start falling asleep, they would start yelling again. Eventually yelled at them to shut up and finally quieted. After that was shortly awoken by the cleaning staff conversing and laughing, which they had put me beside the very loud laundry room. After getting close to no sleep, I woke up showered and went to get my included breakfast (one of the reason I chose this hotel and that it was dog friendly) only to find out they stopped serving at 9am. I would have hoped that when I checked in that's the desk clerk would have mentioned that. I’m sure if the circumstances were different it would have been a different experience. Wouldn't have been such a big deal if I hadn’t driven over 14 hours, got no sleep and then had to drive another 11 the following day.
