La Quinta by Wyndham Bowling GreenThis La Quinta is right off the highway. Very dog friendly. Perfect spot to break up our drive home from Florida. Clean and nice size rooms. Friendly and welcoming. Very hospitable staff. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast options.

Perfect for pets
La Quinta by Wyndham Birmingham HooverThis hotel was lovely. Everything was updated and new. Hotel was clean. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Floor in room was not carpeted whichever was nice. The breakfast had more variety than I have seen at any hotel since covid started. Bed was comfortable. The area was in a business park which was a nice setting quiet and plenty of places to walk the dog. Service at front desk was friendly and courteous. I will stay there again when I drive to Florida. Really enjoyed my stay.

Just enough
Comfort Inn Airport Turfway RoadWe stayed overnight with our dog. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. Breakfast was mediocre but I will put the blame on covid. Hotel is just off 71 so easy to get to. Location was convenient with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Front desk was courteous. They gave us a first floor room next to the side door couldn't have been easier to take the dog out for walks. The room we were in had been updated. It definitely served its purpose. There was a $10 nightly fee for the dog.
