Beautiful room
GrandStay Residential Suites Rapid CityThe room has a full kitchenette, a couch, a desk and 2 TVs. The back of the property has a large grassy area that is well lit for walking the dogs after dark. The only thing I didn't like is that we were put up on the third floor and one of our dogs is terrified of elevators. Why don't they put all of the dogs on the first floor?

Comfortable mattress
La Quinta by Wyndham Nashville FranklinThis was by far the most comfortable bed I slept in all vacation. The hotel has a bit of cosmetic damage, but it was clean and comfortable. There are sidewalks nearby, allowing you to get a nice, long walk in. Fast food and restaurants are close by.

Pay the extra for a nice place
Red Roof Inn PaducahOur room had a bad smell (maybe cleaning supplies?), no toilet paper when we arrived, a really sticky floor, and 2 screws sticking up from the floor where we believe a door stop used to be. Otherwise, it was a bed and shower, very basic.
