Pet Friendly Cruse Dog Park
Cruse Dog Park Cruse Dog Park offers a 1.5-acre area for small dogs and a 4.5-acre area for large dogs. Registration is required. The annual fee is $35 per dog, maximum of two dogs per person. Daily passes are also available for $10 per dog, per day, maximum of two dogs per person. All applicants must provide a copy of their dog's medical records from a licensed veterinarian for current vaccinations for Parvo, Distemper, and Bordetella. They must also provide a copy of their current Certificate of Rabies vaccine including their rabies tag number. Swope Park Off Leash Dog Park Swope Park Off Leash Dog Park is a five-acre space for Fido to play. The Dog Park is divided into two areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Both areas offer dog and people water fountains. Dog owners are allowed four dogs per adult handler and are required to clean up after their pets. Swope Park Off Leash Dog Park is open from 5am to midnight, daily. In addition, pets are welcome to enjoy the rest of the Park on-leash. North Jefferson City Dog Park The North Jefferson City Dog Park offers a fenced, off leash area for dogs to stretch their legs and exercise. The dog park is located in the North Jefferson City Recreational Area at 810 Sandstone Dr. adjacent to the multipurpose building. It is approximately 2 acres and includes a double gate entrance, water source, waste disposal stations, posted regulations and use guidelines, and park benches throughout the site. Usage permits are required to use the park. Please contact the Parks and Recreation office at 573-634-6482 for information about the Dog Park Regulations and Use Guidelines and how to register for a usage permit. Closed until noon on Mondays for maintenance purposes. Open only for puppies under six months of age Mondays from noon until dark. Open for use Tuesday thru Sunday from 5 a.m. until dark according to the following schedule: Small Dogs - 30 lbs. and under - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Large Dogs - over 30 lbs. - Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Time Limit - 45 minutes when others are waiting. See Details
