Wagging Tails Dog Park is located within Lincoln Regional Park, a 419-acre nature area in Tucson, AZ. In addition to their new dog park, the regional park even includes a dog-friendly walking trail from the Atterbury Wash Greenway. Located in the park’s lower section, the dog park includes turf and state-of-the-art amenities, such as agility equipment, a playground, cooling misters, and shady structures. Owners can rest on the benches as pups explore the fenced areas, with separate sections for large and small dogs.

If that wasn’t enough to get Fido’s tail waggin’, the Residence Inn by Marriott Tucson Williams Centre is close by and can accommodate up to three dogs or cats of any size.

If you’re seeking a safe haven for Fido to enjoy playing, learning and socializing, Canine Connection could be your new favorite spot! Operating on a membership basis, this indoor dog play area and private event space hosts a plethora of pup-pleasing events. It serves as the center for various playgroups and breed meetups, as well as local training events. They even throw birthday and adoption day paw-ties, complete with goodie bags for each guest! The newly opened dog park area includes agility equipment and separate fenced areas, so your pooch is sure to find his new crew.

After a full day of socializing, Fido is invited to refuel at Vida Mexican Restaurant’s outdoor patio and order off the dog menu. Then he can rest his paws at one of these adorable Channel Waterfront Cottages.

Wright Street Bark Park

The “wright” place to be! Photo by Facebook.com/Loganpandr

Hoosier hounds have a new hang at the Wright Street Bark Park. Located within Muehlhausen Park in Logansport, IN, this off-leash open space was once a softball field. The Logansport Parks & Recreation Foundation and Logansport Parks Department teamed up to create the city’s first bark park, complete with a faux fire hydrant, drinking fountain, and shaded area. Since 50% of Logansport homes have dogs, this space is a great way to connect with other pet owners!

However, if you’re only “paws”ing through town, the Super 8 by Wyndham Logansport is nearby and allows two pets of any size.

Their newest El Paso venue is settled in the Montecillo neighborhood, where the splash pad and off-leash park operate on a membership basis to foster a sense of community. Passes can be bought on a daily, monthly, or annual subscription. On-duty attendants even clean up after pups and provide water so you can relax with a Bark-arita. The bar and grill portion welcomes leashed dogs on the patio to sip on a dog beer during their Yappy Hour. Their dog menu also features pupsicles and the “Doggie Dog,” a bite-sized beef frank.

Don’t worry if Fido downs too many dog beers! The pet-friendly Holiday Inn El Paso West - Sunland Park an IHG Hotel is located nearby and features an on-site relief area for four-legged guests.
