New Pet-Friendly Hotels: November 2022

November brings six hotels that are welcoming furry guests for the first time. From the white sand beaches of the Sunshine State to the rural roads of the Empire State, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Hotel Effie Sandestin

Brand new to beautiful Miramar Beach, Hotel Effie Sandestin is a luxury getaway for two- and four-legged guests. Upon arrival, pampered pups receive plush beds, water bowls, chew toys and delicious treats. Settle into bright, elegant rooms and suites featuring comfy window seats, hard surface floors, mini refrigerators, espresso machines and private balconies with breathtaking views of the bay and marina. Dine on chef-inspired cuisine at the hotel’s signature restaurant, rejuvenate the body and mind at the on-site spa, and soak up some rays at the heated rooftop swimming pool.

Leashed dogs can stroll down the street to peruse the shops and eateries at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, including the pet-friendly patio at Another Broken Egg Cafe.

Hotel Effie Sandestin welcomes two dogs up to 65 lbs for an additional fee of $250 plus tax per stay.

The Kindler Hotel

Located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, The Kindler Hotel combines classic architecture with modern decor to create a pet-friendly boutique experience. Warm, inviting rooms and suites come equipped with designer furnishings, separate sitting areas, work desks, mini refrigerators and microwaves, fully stocked honor bars and heated bathroom floors. Property amenities include an on-site cocktail lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center and complimentary high-speed internet access.

Walk a few blocks to Code Beer Company, a brewery and taproom that welcomes Fido inside and on the outdoor patio.

The Kindler Hotel accepts two dogs up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $40 per pet, per night, plus a $150 refundable deposit per stay.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown

Furry travelers seeking affordable pet-friendly accommodations less than 50 miles from Louisville and Lexington will feel right at home at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown. Spacious rooms and suites are outfitted with sofas in living areas, writing desks, microwaves and mini refrigerators, and flat-screen HDTVs. Take advantage of an indoor heated swimming pool, 24/7 gym, complimentary breakfast, on-site laundry facilities and a dog-friendly fenced-in patio.

Pups can quench their thirst with a bowl of cold water while owners sample a variety of refreshing craft brews at Scout & Scholar Brewing Co., located less than two miles from the hotel.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown welcomes pets of any size for an additional fee of $20 per pet, per night.

Hampton Inn Chattanooga East Ridge

Hampton Inn Chattanooga East Ridge makes an ideal pet-friendly basecamp for exploring “Scenic City.” Contemporary rooms include plush bedding, comfy sitting chairs, work desks, microwaves and mini refrigerators, and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Excellent property amenities afford guests the opportunity to feast on a free hot breakfast, work out in the on-site fitness center and cool off in the outdoor swimming pool.

Fido can browse the pet supplies aisle at nearby Bass Pro Shops, then take a short drive to catch a game at Bud’s Sports Bar, where leashed pups are allowed on the gated patio.

Hampton Inn Chattanooga East Ridge accepts two pets of any size for an additional fee of $75 (for stays of 1 to 4 nights) and $125 (for longer stays).

High Country Motor Lodge

Surrounded by majestic mountains and deep pine forests, High Country Motor Lodge cordially opens its doors to visiting canines. This newly renovated roadside hotel offers Americana-inspired rooms featuring hardwood floors, cozy sitting areas, mini refrigerators, wet bars and a retro tape deck with an assortment of mixtapes. Grab a drink at the on-site bar, go for a swim in the outdoor pool, rejuvenate in the Nordic spa, exercise in the fitness center and relax on the dog-friendly courtyard patio.

Pups can play off leash less than a mile away at Thorpe Bark Park, a 1.5-acre park with agility equipment and separate sections for large and small dogs. After some exercise, head to nearby Josephine’s Modern American Bistro for dinner at a dog-friendly outdoor table.

High Country Motor Lodge welcomes two pets with a combined weight up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $100 per stay.

Woodstock Way Hotel

Nestled near the serene Tannery Brook Waterfall, the dog-friendly Woodstock Way Hotel embodies the spirit and passion of the renowned 1969 music festival in a rustic-chic setting.
