Terrific park!

A whimsical fountain paying tribute to Mount Vernon's four-legged friends, including a Great Dane puppy, a Bernese Mountain Dog, a giant Schnauzer, and a Golden Retriever, all spitting spurts of water. But dogs aren’t the only creatures you’ll find here—keep an eye out for the cat, plus a pony.

The dogs all have their eyes fixed on the giant golden bone in the center of the fountain. Meanwhile, a cat stares off into the distance, its gazed fixed on two bird sculptures perched on a nearby lamppost.
Plenty of benches plus picnic tables adorn the brick plaza. Rules are posted on signs. Bring your picnic lunch, drinking fountain for people and dogs.

Pricey!

Clean property, restaurants close by. I thought it was a little expensive for what was received.

Nice location

Not much in the way of grassy areas for dog, but a clean and quiet property. We did, unfortunately, book the hotel during Derby Week, and of course, management sought out every penny they could.

Right off the WV Turnpike

Nice hotel, very clean, good beds and pillows. Nice green space out back for your pup. Decent price.

Totaally disgusting

One of the filthiest, dirty hotel properties I ever stayed in. Why this hotel is even listed on BringFido is beyond me. Bathroom trash can was full upon arrival, a walk around the hotel property shows trash everywhere. I paid $100.00, one night, for a hotel that should have cost no more than $30.00. Oh, I get it, pandemic tells me the hotel owner is willing to charge shockingly high prices to make up for his losses, not pay to have his property in decent shape. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Let my bad experience guide you. I'm happy to supply photographs.

Very nice!

Absolutely no issues with this hotel. Friendly check-in (first floor room), dog bed in room. Hotel is very nice, clean rooms, great shower (strong water pressure). Easy to get to, was close to airport but did not hear planes from room. Staff was friendly to my dog.

Stay away!

Under new owners, who clearly do not have money for maintenance. Shower did not work in our room, was given key for room next to us to shower, and it didn't work either. Grass overgrown outside, your pup may get lost. Trust me, stay somewhere else.
