What a dive!
Red Roof Inn Dry RidgeDirty, peeling paint, no wash cloths, generally awful. The only bright spot was a large area for dogs to run.

Econo Lodge LakeviewNot many amenities (no breakfast, no pool) but there is the lake right across the road and nice people at the front desk. If you're a light sleeper note the location on a very busy highway.

Lovely room, so-so service
La Quinta by Wyndham Madison American CenterBeautiful rooms but the staff at this location was less than cordial and even less on the ball (had to tell them when to open the pool and when we had questions they acted as though we were an intrusion). The wrapped muffin and juice box for breakfast were ghastly. We were treated much better at the New Berlin LaQuinta where we spent the next two nights. Their breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, individually packaged hard boiled eggs, packets of oatmeal, and applesauce cups.
