Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott BeloitWell set up for dogs and their people. Lots of grass to roam around on. Doggie relief area well supplied with baggies and maintained. Rooms were plush and relatively quiet. Desk staff were super nice. Only got a 4 because can’t leave dogs unattended in the room.

Not dog friendly
Quality Inn & SuitesThe day manager at the front desk was super nice. But the night desk manager was a jerk and hollered at us for the dogs barking once. Should not be billed as dog friendly if the staff won't tolerate dogs.

Not welcoming
St. Ignace Budget Host InnThe front desk manager made us feel like second class citizens for having dogs. Had to sign a form that threatened a $100 fine if the dogs barked. That does not make for a relaxing stay.

Awesome!
AmericInn by Wyndham Douglas/SaugatuckLoved this place! The staff were so welcoming and tolerant of the dogs. Really felt like we could relax. All the "dog people" were located at the end of a first floor hallway with easy access to a big grassy area and outside trash can. So the guests too were understanding and friendly.
