Reviews
Visitors generally find the Dog Beach at Pier Park to be a clean, well-maintained area that allows dogs to play in the sand and water, though some note it can get crowded. Some reviewers wish the designated dog area was larger or that dogs were permitted in other areas of the beach.

- DebSep 10, 2024Great beach
We took Finn today and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach was clean and not crowded. The only downside was someone showing up with a dog not on a leash that was running around unwatched. Owners please be respectful.
- TonyJul 27, 2024Traffic and parking is awful at Pier Park
I'm a local (PC...Not PCB)...for me to drive cross town...is a living nightmare with all the construction and traffic. Parking is very limited at the Pier area. Once you get to the beach it is awesome, but the aggravation to park and get there
especially on weekends are horrible during tourist season. Wish there was a beach or two on the Thomas Dr area that could be dog friendly...It's not that complicated as they didnt do anything cosmic except mandate this is the only designated area on PCB that is dog friendly. - JoshuaDec 26, 2023Nice
Not the biggest but they don’t enforce if you pass the signs they have posted very clean they have a rinse station overall very nice
- KristiOct 22, 2023So much fun!
Having a place for pups to play was great! Everyone, Including the pups, were so friendly! Loved everything about it! will not hesitate to bring my pup next year!
- Kareen ॐMay 21, 2023Amazing beach
clean, nice white sand, parking across the steet, toilet near, shower for your dog. That was a perfect day!
- CarleanApr 26, 2023Great beach
Wonderful place, can’t believe there are not more of these
- MeganApr 7, 2023Crowded but nice area
Ok, but it’s a crowded area due to spring break and right next to the pier at pier park. The other down side is they don’t have the pet clean up bins like they have at the campground and other parks so make sure you bring your own poop bags.
- DawnMar 10, 2023Great!
great area for dogs to enjoy the beach. water was beautiful and other people and dogs were friendly.
- MadisonMar 4, 2023Awesome little beach!
we loved visiting the beach! we spent 2 days lounging and enjoying the scenery. we went during the very beginning of the season so I’m not sure if they offer beach rental service or not during peak time but be aware that they may not have that so you need to bring your own chairs and umbrella! not huge but honestly we found it fine but again it wasn’t real tourist peak time. i also found it very clean didn’t see any poop lying around. real dog friendly area. will be back
- JenniferFeb 22, 2023Pier Park is Great
Very a dog friendly . Dogs allowed North of the pier . Pick up after your pet and keep them well behaved .
- SharonFeb 9, 2023Awesome
wonderful beach great dogs & owners. if well behaved & listens dog can be off to play ball away from people
- SierraJan 9, 2023So much fun!!
I went in January and it was the perfect weather and not too busy. Bhumi had so much fun playing in the sand and swimming around in the water! the beach was so clean and they had showers (with a hose attachment) so you and your pup can get sand off your feet. it was a smaller area of the beach so it may get more crowded during “on season” but when I went it was absolutely perfect!
- ClaireNov 27, 2022Highlight of our trip!
Our family spent Thanksgiving at PCB so finding ways to include our furry family members in the fun was essential- this beach was PERFECT. Plenty of VERY friendly dogs, great people, and the beach was very well maintained! Many obedient doggos were off leash and under voice command which was a’ok with our golden doodles! Also plenty of dog-friendly restaurants nearby to make a day of it! We did go during holidays where beach wasn’t as crowded so that may have influenced our positive experience.
- AlethaAug 4, 2022Beach Baby
Tasia loves the beach as much as I do!! Convenient parking across the street, and on all of our visits it appeared that visitors cleaned up after their dogs which was nice. I do wish there were other dog beaches in the area; however, thankful for this one. For us, it is a must-do anytime we are in Panama City!
- JulietteJul 24, 2022Dog and family friendly.
Great beach for dogs and families. Warm waters, long sand bars, and small gulf waves. We did not see any dogs off leash.
- LarissaJun 18, 2022Dog beach
Our two dogs had so much fun at the beach! Every dog there was friendly. Kind of stunk that people with out dogs were there crowding it. Definitely will be back!
- RussellMay 14, 2022Perfect! Exactly what we were looking for!
We had the BEST time here! Was a beautiful location with lots to do and and dog friendly restaurants. Beach was a little crowded but what can you expect with limited dog beaches in the area -
- LaurenMay 8, 2022LOCATION IS AMAZING
incredible beach for dogs! yes - do have to leash your pup, but sand and water incredible for dog and human alike! I wish it was fenced in so dogs can run off the leash, and I also wish that non-dog owners didn’t camp out there so it wouldn’t be as crowded. Those are both wishlist items, but 5/5 for what is advertised and what is provided.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of bags provided and the showers having hose options for our furry friends at 56 & 57!
- CarolMar 23, 2022Beautiful
Section of beautiful beach, dogs allowed! It was a cool March day for us, so not busy, if weather was warmer I would expect it could be crowded. Ample free parking close by.
- EmmaFeb 24, 2022Nice
nice area on the beach ,next time I visit I’ll book a hotel around here cause except that beach there is no other beach you can go with your dog around! it’s close to nice restaurants dog friendly and has nice vibes
- AprilDawnDec 26, 2021Great experience
loved the singing sand and dog friendly beach. Bentley loved the ocean waves and barked in excitement at the foamy fingers.
- AshleyOct 3, 2021Love this spot!
We’ve taken our dogs to PCB dog park a few times and it’s always been a great experience. Our dogs don’t love other dogs but the love to get in the water and relax under the tent.
- HeatherSep 5, 2021Small, but nice
Since PCB doesn't allow dogs on the beach, it's nice they have an area for them to enjoy the beach and ocean. It is a very, very short stretch of beach which means at certain times it is completely packed with two and four legged guests. We went at sunset and it was crammed full. Earlier in the morning around 7a it was better with only 5 dogs total which made it easier to play on the beach with my people. Both times overall people were responsible dog owners. The crowded times are kind of dog park rules which is a bit of a free for all but owners were watching their dogs.
- AshleyJul 7, 2021Perfect Place to Bring your Pup!
Dog beach is the perfect (and only) place to bring your pup on the beach in PCB. It isn’t a huge stretch of beach, but we didn’t have any trouble finding a spot with a good distance from the other dogs in the area. For the most part, other dogs were on leashes or very obedient and responsive to their owners. Besides the beach itself, Pier Park is very pet friendly, so it’s a great place to go on a walk. Some stores will also allow you to bring your dog in as well. We needed to grab our pup a new harness that could get wet before we went out, so we stopped at Brooklyn’s Dog Boutique in the back of Pier Park by Dillards. They had harnesses, leashes, collars, toys, treats, and more, so be sure to stop by while you’re there!
- ScottJan 24, 2021Great spot for your pups
Spent about an hour there walking with my dog talking with other dog owners and letting mine run around on her leash. Most dogs were not on a leash but well behaved which is fine by me. Never saw any poop and there are bags and trash cans available. Just an FYI many people had dogs all along the beach outside of this area. Nobody around to enforce the rule, but dogs shouldn’t be kept to one area anyway.
- ErikJan 12, 2021Rare Opportunity For Dogs On The Beach!
We discovered “Dog Beach” when staying over in Miramar Beach, FL in our motorcoach for the winter. There are very few beach areas in NW Florida that permit dogs, so this was a great find. The beach is on the west side of the pier. Ample parking across the street behind the Pier Park shops. Hershey has an awesome time playing and exploring in the beach. The only downside was too many dog owners NOT following the city/park leash regulations and having many dogs off-leash. If we want to run Hershey off-leash, we take him to appropriate places where that is permitted and makes sense. other than that, Dog Beach in Panama City Beach is great! 🐶
- DebbieJul 11, 2020Best Beach Day!
our dog had a last! They had doggie poop bags and plenty of shoreline for dogs to play, on leash of course. There were life guards and the location is really good. There are plenty of dog friendly restaurants in the area. there is also a few hoses to rinse puppers off after a day at the beach.
- DanielleMay 25, 2020Just Be Aware
Really pay attention to the heat of the walks and the sand. The leash policy doesn’t seem to be enforced and there are a few irresponsible owners but that’s anywhere. With the popularity, I would like to see the space expand. The early morning and late evening are definitely the time to go. Mid-day it was too crowded. There were a lot of “yippie” dogs that wouldn’t stop barking and their owners seemed oblivious but it kinda goes with any dog place. Just be aware at all times and it’s a good place to enjoy. The location allows for easy access to a lot of dog friendly restaurants in Pier Park.
- JenMay 7, 2020Pawesome
Off-leash and in the water Chuckit time is the best Chuckit time. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
- DeboraNov 22, 2019Great Time at the Pier Park Dog Beach
We had such a great time at the Pier Park Dog beach with our 2 golden retrievers. No problem being off leash so they could run, play, and swim in the ocean, Lots of other dogs to play with and chase a few sea gulls. We went to the dog park at least once a day on our trip and had tons of fun!!
- KelbyOct 8, 2019Great off leash area
I love the fact that dogs can be off leash and playing in the water. all the people and dogs around me even if they didn't stay to play weren't offended that my dog was off-leash which is awesome. She's a pitbull and so certain places I go I get weird remarks even if she doesn't do anything wrong. Everyone was so nice, the water was great, the beach was clean. We'll definitely be back!!
- MartinaMay 22, 201975% of all dogs off the leash...
The beach and water is gorgeous ~ my dog and I went twice within a year (we now live in Panama City) - overcrowded at any given time, too small for the volume of dogs running around and the worst part: 75% of all dogs were off the leash running around wild! Totally irresponsible owners that spoiled it for us - my dog got attacked 8 (eight) times in her life by small and some medium-sized dogs off the leash, so she was terrified during our most recent beach visit every time a yipping barking Yorkshire Terrier or other "cute" little dog tried to run into her face. Dumbed down, irresponsible dog owners these days. I wished local officers would check on all those idiots because accidents are bound to happen! The 8 times my dog got attacked (2 times we were hospitalized), after each incident the owners responded to me "oh, my dog has never bitten another dog before, normally he is very friendly!" How about prevention, respecting the law, and common sense, people? We will stick to our little secluded bay that I now found, without humans or dogs off the leash in the future!
- LanieMar 31, 2019Great Beach!
We drove down from Georgia for the day and were pleasantly surprised! It’s a beautiful beach for being a “dog beach” and it was perfect for us to lay out chairs and bring our pup! I think all the reviews of the address being wrong are not applicable anymore- I typed in dog beach to google maps and it took us right there!
- VictoriaDec 28, 2018Love This Dog Beach
Only a mile from our condo, we visit this beach almost every time we are in town.
We follow it up with a meal at Hooked just down from it.
Some people don’t abide by the leash policy, which is the only negative thing I would have to say about it, but that’s people, not the place!!
- AimeeSep 5, 2018Love Our Dog Beach
We live in PCB and go to the Dog Beach wkly
Across the rd is Pier Park, they are Pet Friendly. My Shih Tzu, Chloe goes shopping with me. We love Ron Jons, they will bring your pet a water bowl. Old Navy, Columbia, and almost every store let’s is in. Same with places to eat. In PCB, if they have outside area to sit, pets are allowed.
Our favorites are Pineapple Willy’s, Gulf Coast Burger, and Wicked Wheel - CatarinaJul 18, 2018Beach #56
first time at PCB and we brought our dog with us not knowing that most of the beaches didn’t allow dogs. Luckily, after an hour of looking we found Beach 56 that allows dogs and had a great time.
- JosephJul 8, 2018More than adequate for our dogs
After reading and researching this dog beach, I was very skeptical and worried it would be too small. Thankfully we gave it a shot. The dog beach actually stretched a much larger area than I expected. My two dogs loved it, and it wasn't too crowded. It was a good mix of people with and without dogs. We will definitely be back.
- Wham16More than a year agolarge doggie area
After reading some of the reviews, we were hesitant to visit doggie beach. It was larger than I ever could have imagined! Maybe they area has been increased since some of he reviews. Everyone seemed to be pet friendly on dog beach. Definitely worth the experience of watching our pups swim for the first time!
- Robert & StephanieMore than a year agoGreat Spot
In an area where there are very few dog friendly beaches, this little beach was a welcome attraction for our little Westie Remy. It was a little crowded with regular beach goers, but there were several other dog families and the atmosphere was great. Also, there is a restaurant on the opposite side of the pier that welcomes pups to relax on the patio while their humans enjoy a nice meal. Good experience!
- KerriMore than a year agowonderful
The dog beach was great! It was very large and not overcrowded. I set up a canopy tent, which the lifeguards had to help me do lol, and my Labrador had a ball. We drove from Destin since dogs are not allowed on the beach there. Several restaurants at The Pier Park also allowed her on the patio. Excellent experience
- LindaApr 30, 2018Our dogs loved the Dog Beach at Pier Park!
We took our 3 dogs (a Yellow Lab and 2 rescues, not really sure what breeds make them up but they are the same size as the Lab) to Panama City for the first time and were so excited about taking them to the Dog Beach. We tried first on a Sunday but it was just way too crowded so we went back Monday morning. All of the reviews on this site were so helpful! Like everyone says, the Dog Beach is from the right of the pier to the first house. They provide bags to clean up after your dog, also. Our dogs were not sure of the beach at first, then they got used to the sand. We never could get them in the ocean but it was still a great morning. Will definitely be taking them back!
- CarmenMar 10, 2018Great location!
My husband and I traveled from Miramar beach to Pier Park after reading some reviews online (one of those sites being BringFido.com). The dog park is located on the right side of the pier all the way to where the houses start. Not a huge area but a decent size for dogs to enjoy the beach with their humans. We had no real complaints besides the confusing signage (we did call the parks and rec department to fix the no dog sign) and there weren’t many dog stations. We would recommend this beach to other dog owners! Bonus: some of the restaurants around the area do allow dogs to enter!
- JessicaMore than a year agoWorth the drive!
I can understand the locals frustrations, however being from out of state this dog beach was ample in size for our dog to run around chasing his ball and walking along the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and if you are a dog owner looking for something to do, I recommend stopping on the beach! The entrance is just to the right of the Pier, between 55 and 57. Enjoy!
- JanciJan 15, 2018Just too small
I didn't think the size would bother me but once we got there I realized all we could do was stand in one spot and let our dogs play in a 6 foot radius around us. There was an unfriendly dog to one side and a bunch of non-dog people taking up space on the other.
- ButternutMore than a year agoNice, but lack of common sense will ruin it for everyone
The beach is beautiful, but it’s not a very long stretch. The city has leash laws and very few people seem to follow them. There are leash laws for a reason! The dogs that ran up on us didn’t respond to their owners and if it wasn’t for my can of compressed air I’m not sure they wouldn’t have attacked us. The situation was exactly what city officials everywhere cite as the reason not to have dog friendly beaches and parks. So please be responsible, follow the rules, and keep this place an option for all of our fur babies!!
- ValerieMore than a year agoFun
The beach here is nice with good sand. The dog friendly area is pretty small. And the area is not well marked at all. I didn't see a sign that said dog beach or dog friendly it just didn't have the no pets signs that all the other public access areas had. There are several restaurants close by that are dog friendly.
- DaltonMore than a year agoDog friendly
Sophia had a great time on her first trip to the beach. If you are thinking of bringing your dog there can be a lot of people and dogs so just be smart with your dogs social skills. Also you can take your dog to margaritaville and sit on the deck Sophia had a water and some chicken strips.
- SusanMore than a year agoWonderful time for my dog!
We've never been to a dog beach and haven't stayed anywhere that allowed loose dogs. So we have nothing to compare this to. But our six year old Boykin Spaniel (major water dog!) had his first beach experience here. He went crazy in the water. The waves were a bit rough but he didn't care. It was clean and had a few benches, dog poop bags and can were provided. I was surprised so many dogless people were there but they were friendly. It was a good place for us and we'll go back.
- TaraMore than a year agoDog friendly
We took our three boxers and had a great time. The beach was clean, marked off for dog use, and had pet clean up stations. It is leash only, but I have never been to a place where they let dogs roam free, why would they? All in all the dogs had a great time, met some nice people and other dogs.
- JoshMore than a year agoPier Beach
The dog portion of the beach is about 3/10s of a mile long. The beach is clean and water is clean and clear! Highly recommend
- KevinMore than a year agoNice clean beach
It's good for small dogs that don't do the water much. Its not really a running around type of area, but I liked my experience.
- VeronicaMore than a year agoVery nice
After reading some of the negative reviews I was expecting not so nice place BUT was pleasantly surprised. It was a very nice section of the beach. Plenty big as you can't let your dog of the leash anyhow. Had some benches if you wanted to sit. Would go back.
- RogerMore than a year agoVery Nice area
Staying in Destin but drove down to Pier Park to check out the dog beach. The dog beach entrance is just west of the pier at 56 and 57. Plenty big for us and our 25 pound rat terrier "Cooper". About 100 yards of beach front. Several stores across the street in the shopping area are pet friendly. Had lunch at the Hofbrau München, good selection of beer and German cuisine. Lots of other restaurants in the area. Lots of pets and everyone was great.
- CharlesMore than a year agoDauphin Island, Al
The entire Dauphin island is dog friendly. We let our dog off leash and run free but only if a light crowd. She can for miles in either direction no problem. This small of an area in PCB sucks.
- JenniferMore than a year agoAmple Room for Small Dogs
My dachshund had plenty of room and I found the beach fairly clean. A few nearby restaurants allow dogs and everyone was super friendly when we walked him through Pier Park. Several shops had bowls outside with water.
- EmmaMore than a year agomy dogs love it here!
It's great to have somewhere to go with my dogs when it's beach weather. It's only a small area but a nice place for the dogs to run and play in the sea on leash.
- AllisonMore than a year agoLame
The area is super small and it is just very boring. Let dogs on more parts of the beach than that tiny boring area. Its almost pointless to even have it.
- AngelaMore than a year agoVery Pet Friendly
The entire public beach on St. George island, FL is pet friendly. We are a little over an hour from Panama City Beach. many rental homes on the island are pet friendly as well. Most of the shops and a few restaurants are pet friendly. Layla is our shop dog at Island Outfitters bring your dog in and say hi.
- RobertMore than a year agoWhat doggie lover areas?
They advertise on the web about dog friendly, where at? The Atlantic side of FL is def friendly to pets. Esp St. Augustine Daytona. go there, you and your buddie will love it.
- MeleshMore than a year ago1st time at a dog beach
Took my 6 month old coonhound Vivieka. Wasn't a big area she was allowed in. Wasn't many other dogs there. Lots of people came up to me to meet her. She had a great time. It was so much fun to see her experience the ocean. Wasn't much we could do on vacation with her unfortunately.
- MarkMore than a year agoNOT pet friendly
To small the whole city seems to hate dogs. I will spend my money elsewhere
- ColleenMore than a year agoNot worth it
Very limited space and dogs have to be leashed. Cape San blas much better
- ParichardMore than a year agonice beach; nice people
I love this beach so much that I take my dog for a swim when I could get out of town. Also, Sammy ( dog) and I love people watch while we have lunch in one of outside restaurants that dog's friendly. Great service!
- JanieMore than a year agoAmple space
For a state that limits options for dogs on its beaches this was a nice stretch of beach located in a popular tourist area of shops and restaurants just across the street. Plenty if room for my lab just wished I could have let him off his lead.
- Jekyll Island Beach BoundMore than a year agoJekyll is pet friendly!

- AmandaMore than a year agoWonderful area!
Great place for your pooches! Huge area (I think) and always plenty of fun dogs and great owners. WIsh dogs were allowed off leash.
- MikeMore than a year agoAgree With Debbie Gary in Panama City Beach
Debbie Gary in Panama City Beach,
Although I don't live there, I have to agree 110% with you Debbie and several others that think there should be more space for dog lovers to bring their 4 legged kids with them..look at it this way, why should dog lovers be singled out? If they are going to single out and restrict their access to the beaches, then why don't they make more beaches for adults only, (and not talking about nude) ones where no kids are allowed, there are those that don't have kids or those that do but come without them and come to the beach to relax and don't want to hear or be around kids. If they are going to "punish" dog lovers by not allowing them access for their "kids", it's only fair to do the same for kids. - Connie Van TasselMore than a year agoNeed more Space
I appreciate the little dog friendly area in PCB. I was disappointed that there aren't more areas for dogs to run freely. Cape San Blas is the cleanest beach in Florida & it is all off leash dog friendly! Dog owners are typically very clean! Cleaner than parents who allow their children to leave trash from juice boxes, etc., dirty disposable diapers, etc. Take a look at Cape San Blas; it is all pet friendly & cleaner than PCB where no pets are allowed.
- MIchaelMore than a year agoDoggie Beach
We are visting from Nashville and were surprised how pet un-friendly is the Gulf Coast area! It appears that dogs are not allowed on any stretch of beach, anytime, for any reason - except this small area. It's a start and I appreciate the efforts of the local citizens to gain access to this area.
The parcel of beach is probably about 800 feet wide, which was plenty for out little beagle to share with the other dogs who were visiting. As usual, I found more human trash than I did doggie droppings. There will always be people who are unable to clean up after themselves or their dogs.
It was refreshing to find this little area and worth the drive from Destin. However, we will definitely have to consider how restrictive are most of these areas before visiting the Gulf coast again.
- KieraMore than a year agoIronman Triathlon
My sister and i came to see the triathlon with our 15 week cocker spaniel puppy. i LOVE this site because we arent familiar with the area and did not know where we could have our puppy. i looked up this beach and we went. it is FANTASTIC, i love that it is a real open beach and not a little gated in place like back in pensacola by boat ramps. Great cleaning area, maybe add another. but great great great place. very beautiful.
- JennMore than a year agoSuch a great day!
This was my first time bringing my black lab to the beach and it was the most fun day, for me and him! The beach and water were gorgeous and the entire area was very clean. We met many great people and dogs and I loved the friendly atmosphere. We let my dog off the leash to swim in the gulf and dig in the sand, but otherwise when we were laying out, we had him on the leash to lay down. Here's a tip: get there early! We got there around 8-8:30 each day and it was less crowded than when we were leaving around 10-11. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in PCB...I wish I lived closer!!
- RandyMore than a year agoPCB Dog Beach is too small
Florida sucks if you want to bring a dog to the beach. PCB is a very small area but one of the few areas to offer access for a dog.
- CarolMore than a year agoVisitor & soon to be PC resident
Took my 2 dogs to the dog friendly beach area & all I could think of is that it was so clean! At the human end of the beach, there was terrible human trash! And why can't the city of PC allow pet owners on the beach? They are certainly more responsible than the general public!
- StephanieMore than a year agoThe PCB Dog Beach is Fabulous
Thanks to the City Council of Panama City Beach, this dog beach has been in existence since 2007 and is beloved by locals and visitors alike. Just to clarity from previous reviews, this is the area where it is absolutely legal to have your dog on the beach and you will NOT be ticketed or fined for it. Just keep your dog on a leash or long line (there are no length requirements). The beach is snow-white and the water is deep turquoise - heaven! There is a shower with a hose on the boardwalk, but I would recommend you also bring some bottled water and a small bowl for your dog, and a small umbrella your dog can sit under for shade. When you get hungry, you and your dog can stroll up the streets of Pier Park and sit outside for a great meal and a cool beverage. Most outdoor seating is dog-friendly - just inquire with the particular establishment.
Yes, we'd all like an off-leash dog beach, too, and some of us are working on ideas to get one. In the meantime, come to Panama City Beach with your dog and enjoy the Gulf of Mexico together.
- JohnMore than a year agoPCB is to dog unfreindly
Dog beach is OK but the general attitude there is we don't even want your dog at our resort or in this community. It is a shame a few bad dangerous breed owners have screwed this up for us good dog owners. From talking to local folks the excuse from Bay County was health issues but I'm going with the liability issue of a dog attack. Spring Breakers and infant diapers leave far worse than responsible dog owners, Avoid Panama City Beach and take your hard earned cash else where until they resolve this issue. If your from the east head to South Carolina Beaches instead and bypass Florida period. I feel sorry for the local dog owners who should be suing on the basis of public land use and California's laws as a guide line where most beaches is open to dogs on a leash.
- TimMore than a year ago$500.00
I take my dog to the beach a lot. I hope they try to fine me 500.00, I will let them take me to jail, and when they get tired of feeding, housing, and taking care of my medical bills, I will have the last laugh. Man that is cheap rent.
- Rebecca LeighMore than a year agoNeed More PCB Dog Beaches
Great place and very clean. however I would love to take my dog down to the West End of the beach away from the crowds!
- KimMore than a year agoDogs like the beach too!
I took my dog to the dog beach a couple of times. I'm glad Panama City Beach has this area, but it is just "OK" dogs have to be on a leash, which is fine, but I believe dogs should be able to run as long as they are trained well (which mine is not) Some dogs are not as dog friendly as others, but owners are very good about bringing dogs who are not agressive towards people or other dogs. The city provides clean-up bags and even a special recepticle for the bags to go in that is separate from the regular trash. The dogs enjoy their time at the beach with their human families. The only thing I can say to the negative side is that the area is not that big. I also think their should be other areas of beach in Panama City so some would not have to go all the way to Pier Park. Panama City has a lot of beach, so why not give us a little more?
