Along the way, you can stop off at a waterfall after traversing a steep creekside trail through rugged rock formations. The trail is rated moderate and is just over three miles out-and-back. Tanner Park Salt Lake City, UT's Tanner Park is great place for Fido to get some exercise outdoors! The pet-friendly park goes down in a gully, and at the bottom there is a bridge where many folks let their dogs off leash to play in the creek. The current is strong, so please use caution. This is not your typical fenced in dog park. It is like hiking in the wilderness. There are no bathrooms or watering areas so be sure to bring your own. There are a number of bag and waste stations.
