Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park is a dog-friendly activity in Sevierville, TN. Cross the Prosperity Bridge and hike up to Lost Mine Falls. Providence Canyon State Park Dogs are welcome at Providence Canyon State Park. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy more than ten miles of trails that delve into Georgia's 'Little Grand Canyon'. The colorful canyons are an unusual natural phenomenon that are well worth the visit. If you don't fancy too much walkies, you can enjoy the picnic areas as well. Visitors are warned to be careful of the trails in certain weather as the ground can erode and become treacherous. See Details
Tahquamenon Falls State Park Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Paradise, MI, is dog-friendly The centerpiece of the park's 50,000 acres is the waterfalls of the Tahquamenon River. The Upper Falls, one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi, has a drop of nearly 50 feet, more than 200 feet across and a water flow of more than 50,000 gallons per second. Hocking Hills State Park Dog-friendly Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, OH, is a perfect place to spend a day in the great outdoors. The park occupies 2,330 acres and provides a great opportunity to explore miles of trails with Fido. Natural features include towering cliffs, deep gorges, caves, and waterfalls, while man-made features include picnic areas, restrooms, campgrounds, and more. Upper Falls to Lower Falls via Buckeye Trail is a popular scenic route with beautiful countryside views. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their humans in most of the areas of the park. See Details
Montezuma Castle National Monument Montezuma Castle National Monument is pet-friendly. Due to the extreme temperatures during the summer months, dogs are welcome on the trails at both Montezuma Castle and Montezuma Do not leave a dog inside a vehicle. Even with the windows rolled down slightly, temperatures inside a locked car can climb to over 140 degrees. Make sure you sign up Fido to be a Bark Ranger while you are visiting! Dogs must remain on a leash under six feet and under control at all times. To preserve the cleanliness of the area, all mess must be cleaned up after them. Montezuma Castle National Monument is open every day of the week from 8am until 5pm. See Details
Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area is a 10,000-acre, pet-friendly open space along a 48-mile stretch of the river in Sandy Springs, GA. Leashed dogs are welcome to accompany you on a visit to this large forested park where you can enjoy hiking, biking, rafting and fishing. Table Rock State Park Leashed dogs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed in the park or historic buildings or public swimming areas and beaches. Guests staying at the campgrounds are limited to having two dogs per campsite unless an exemption is obtained in advance from the park service. Table Rock State Park in Branson, Missouri offers visitors to Branson and their pets an opportunity to explore the many nature trails that the park has to offer. Paris Mountain State Park Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife. Pets are not allowed in or around lodging facilities.

Thunderbird Conservation Park Thunderbird Conservation Park, a 1,185-acre park in the Hedgpeth Hills, is a conservation area dedicated to preserving the desert environment in Glendale, AZ. Park activities include picnicking, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, jogging and bird watching. About 15 miles of multi-use, dog-friendly trails have been constructed, thanks to the efforts of many volunteer groups. See Details

Moss Rock Preserve Moss Rock Preserve is a beautiful 250-acre nature preserve in Hoover, AL, abundant with trees and plants, rock outcroppings, streams, waterfalls, wildlife and other unique natural features. There are nearly 10 miles of dog-friendly hiking footpaths, as well as "Boulder Field" which is a favorite among rock climbers. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they must be on no more than a 6-foot leash and under their owner's control at all times. See Details
Minnewaska State Park Preserve Minnewaska State Park Preserve in Kerhonkson, NY, is dog-friendly! Leashed pets are welcome to join their owners as they explore the area, which is situated on the dramatic Shawangunk Mountain ridge, and features numerous waterfalls, crystalline sky lakes, dense forests, sheer cliffs, streams, and fifty miles of footpaths. Dogs are not allowed in buildings, camping, picnic or bathing areas or on walkways. They are not permitted on the cross-country ski trails when they are groomed and open for cross-country skiing only. Minnewaska State Park Preserve's hours vary seasonally, so dog owners should call ahead or check its website before planning their outing. See Details
Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park Dogs are welcome at Tarkiln Bayou Preserve State Park in Pensacola, FL. The park stretches 4,000 acres and is home to a number of rare and endangered plants. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy the Tarkiln Bayou Trail, meandering through prairie, cypress and titi forests, and leading to a scenic view of the Bayou; and the Perdido Bay Trail, a more difficult 6.5-mile trail that leads to beaches and weaves through oaks and pines. Along the dog-friendly trails, you might be able to sneak a peek of some migratory birds, white tailed deer, raccoon or bobcat. There are numerous benches and picnic tables around the park and along the trails to enjoy a spot of lunch with Spot the dog. See Details
Solstice Canyon Bring your leashed pup out for a bit of exercise on this mild hike, which afford breathtaking views of the ocean. Solstice Canyon in Malibu features several options for easy, moderate, or strenuous hikes through coastal sage scrub and riparian plant communities. Visitors can enjoy a picnic, a shady stroll along the Solstice Canyon Trail, or a more challenging climb up the Rising Sun Trail. The perennial waterfall is a popular hiking destination, and along the way you might encounter acorn woodpeckers, alligator lizards, fence lizards, or a red-tailed hawk soaring overhead. Dogs are allowed but must remain on a leash, not to exceed six feet, at all times. Please pick­ up after your dog. See Details
Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve is a dog-friendly park in Redwood City, CA. Take your pet for an on-leash hike throughout this large, lovely nature preserve, or let them run free in the 17.5-acre area located in the center of the preserve, accessible from the Cordilleras Trail, Polly Geraci/Hassler Trails and the Blue Oak Trail. Be careful as the area is fenced and signed at entrances, but there is no fencing around the off-leash area. Dogs must be on a leash when outside of the off-leash area. See Details
Red Bug Slough Preserve Red Bug Slough Preserve is a dog-friendly nature preserve in Sarasota, FL. There are several trails that you can enjoy with your pup, some of which afford views of a small lake. There are two picnic shelters were you can share a snack with Fido. Be aware that you may encounter alligators during your visit, so keeping your dog leashed is imperative. Please clean up after your pets to help protect the flora and fauna. See Details
Silver Springs State Park Leashed dogs are welcome on the hiking trails and in the picnic areas at Silver Springs State Park in Silver Springs, FL. There are a number of pet-friendly trails, including the Sandhill Trail, a 1.7 mile loop trail; the Sinkhole Trail, traversing up through the uplands; and the Swamp Trail, a boardwalk trail that will keep your feet dry while you explore. Please note that, unfortunately, dogs are not permitted near the springs or on any form of water transportation at the park. See Details
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is less than a half-hour drive from the Strip in Las Vegas. Leashed pets are allowed on dog-friendly trails. Owners are required to clean up after their dogs. Baggies for waste disposal are available in the campground and at the Scenic Drive fee station. Fido must be leashed at all times in the campground areas, and at other developed facilities such as the visitor center, Willow Springs picnic area and Red Rock overlook. Due to the extreme temperatures in the Canyon, pet owners should never leave their pets unattended inside their vehicles, and you should bring plenty of water for your pet as well. There is a fee per vehicle to enter. See Details
Garland Ranch Regional Park Dog-friendly Garland Ranch Regional Park is a gorgeous park in Carmel, CA, with the Carmel River running through it. Dogs are allowed off-leash in certain areas, including in the river and on selected trails (not the horse trails). Atop the northern crest of the Santa Lucia Mountains, the trails encounter open oak savannas and spectacular vistas. Along the way, you will travel through maple-filled canyons, dense oak woodlands, and thick stands of chaparral. There are trails for nearly all abilities, from beginner to advanced hiker. Trail maps can be found at the park's visitor center. The park is open dawn until dusk. See Details
Gatlinburg Trail The Gatlinburg Trail is one of only two pet-friendly trails in the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN. The trail is nearly two miles long one-way. It is quite flat and runs through a forested area. The trail offers nice views of the Little Pigeon River, and it runs over a bridge as well. Historians will enjoy the foundations and chimneys of several old homesites along the way. See Details
Robert H. Treman State Park You and Fido can enjoy a day out in nature at dog-friendly Robert H. Treman State Park in Ithaca, NY. Keep your pup on a leash and explore over nine miles of trails. The highlight of the park is Enfield Glen, a gorge with 12 stunning waterfalls to admire. Adventurous visitors should venture down Rim Trail and Gorge Loop Trail, two moderately challenging, steep routes which reward hikers with scenic views and the beautiful Lucifer Falls overlook. Dogs are permitted in some camping sites and cabins at Robert H. Treman State Park, but are not allowed in any swimming areas. See Details
