Visitors can utilize the picnic areas, jogging path, sports courts, playing fields and playgrounds. The park also has a pond and small wooded area. Double Trouble State Park The Double Trouble State Park is a pet-friendly state park and historic district in Bayville, NJ. There's a self-guided, marked 1.5-mile loop nature trail and several miles of unmarked paths along sand service roads. Nature trail guides are available at the trailhead next to the cranberry packing house and at the park information building. Double Trouble Village is an active cranberry farm. Pets must be on a leash at all times and owners must clean up after their pets. Make sure you check your dog for ticks when you're done exploring. See Details

Morristown National Historic Park Check out the pet-friendly Morristown National Historic Park in Morristown, NJ. The area is historically important due to the amount of American Revolutionary War sites located nearby, including Jockey Hollow, the Ford Mansion, Fort Nonsense and the New Jersey Brigade Encampment. There are 27 miles of foot and horse trails to explore with your pooch and the beginning of a two-mile auto loop tour. Dogs must be on a leash under six feet and all mess cleaned up after them. Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park The Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park is dog-friendly. This popular recreation corridor in New Jersey passes through miles and miles of canal country. Emerson Woods Preserve Bring Fido to explore the pet-friendly Emerson Woods Preserve in Westwood, NJ. This recreation area features 19 acres of trails you can walk with your dog. The park borders a fenced reservoir with a beach, restroom and parking, which you can access for a nominal yearly fee. Alternatively, you can walk your dog on the border of the reservoir for free and use street parking. Dogs must be leashed at all times throughout the area and please pick up your waste. See Details
