Devils Punchbowl Trail Devils Punchbowl State Natural Area is an out and back pet-friendly trail in Newport, OR. Most hikers will find this interesting pathway an easy hike. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them. The highlight of the trail is the interesting collapsed cave at the end, the Punchbowl, where water gathers and churns during high tide. See Details
Pet Friendly Smith Rock State Park
Smith Rock State Park Smith Rock State Park in Terrebonne, OR is dog friendly! Fido can explore its 650 acres, but must be on a leash no longer than six feet at all times, and owners must clean up after their pet. Clean-up bags and a garbage can are located right before the bridge. Climbers and slackliners bringing dogs to a route or line must follow special rules, which can be found on Smith Rock's official website. See Details
Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is a dog-friendly spot to enjoy seaside prairies, spectacular vistas, secluded cove beaches, rugged cliffs, and forested sea stacks in Brookings, OR.. The Corridor features a somewhat easy, twelve-mile trail that takes about seven hours to complete with Fido. Pets must be leashed during their visit. Dog owners can start out from the trailhead at the north end of the picnic area and head down the paved path past the pit toilets. Those wanting to continue their trek should ignore the trail that goes left to the beach and keep going straight through a bit of brush before opening up to a nice trail on the other side. Sandy River Delta Park Sandy River Delta Park is a pet-friendly place in Troutdale, OR. The trail system consists of a thousand acres of off-leash trails that lead to the Sandy River where your dog can wade or swim. Walk or hike for hours. It can be muddy at times due to Portland's frequent rain. Take I-84 to exit 18, follow the road and cut back under 84, stay straight instead of getting on the on ramp and you will be in doggy heaven! This one-way, dog-friendly loop trail brings hikers past the 226 foot veil waterfall that is Proxy Falls. Leashed pets are welcome to join you as you take in the breathtaking scenery along the hiking trail. From McKenzie Bridge, OR, travel east on Highway 126 to Highway 242. William M. Tugman State Park Situated on Eel Lake in Lakeside, OR, the William M. Tugman State Park is a fantastic destination for a day outdoors with your pooch. The lake is perfect for fishing, swimming, canoeing, boating, and sailing. If you'd rather hike, there is a dog-friendly trail around the south end of the lake that will take you away from the developed area of the park so you can get even closer to the beauty of nature without distractions. L.L. Stub Stewart State Park Located 30 miles west of Portland is L.L. Stub Stewart State Park where boundless hiking opportunities await you and Fido. Situated in Buxton, OR, this woodland park features rolling hills and over 25 miles of trails which are suited to any skill level. For a leisurely pace on gentle terrain, opt to follow Banks-Vernonia State Trail which is completely paved and passes through the park. Trails at Stub Stewart State Park are multi-use and frequented by hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. Dogs must remain leashed at the park with the exception of Hilltop Day Use Area which is fenced. Tamanawas Falls Trail Tamanawas Falls Trail, in Mount Hood, OR, is a wonderful pet-friendly hike no matter the time of year. Located in the Mt. Hood National Forest, this snowy 3.5-mile loop takes in Tamanawas Falls, where the water forms a broad curtain from the Cold Spring Creek that pours over a lava cliff near the eastern base of Mount Hood. Parking is limited and can be unsafe in extreme weather, so be careful if you decide to visit during the winter months. See Details

Leashed pets are allowed on The Godfrey Glen Trail, Lady of the Woods Trail, Grayback Drive, the famous Pacific Crest Trail and the paved promenade at Rim Village. Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area Bring Fido to enjoy the beauty of the pet-friendly Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area in Reedsport, OR. Take advantage of the OHV riding opportunities, hiking, wildlife viewing, camping, picnicking, or the chance to play in the sand. Dogs must be leashed in all developed areas including campgrounds and picnic areas and in Cape Perpetua Scenic Area and Marys Peak Scenic Botanical Area; dogs are not permitted in beach areas closed to dogs to protect Western Snowy Plovers; dog waste must always be cleaned up.
