The Halloween season always inspires dog owners to dress their pups in “fur-raising” costumes, and this year is no different! A big thanks to every BringFido user who shared photos of their furry best friend’s creative looks. Here are some of the spookiest, cutest, funniest, and most “pupular” submissions.
Top Dog Costumes of 2022

Bad to the Bone
We don’t know what Cooper did to get himself thrown in the slammer, but it doesn’t look like Dexter is going to let him off the hook anytime soon.
Did Somebody Say Cookies?
Waffles is a sweet treat dressed up as the Cookie Monster with owner Laurie as Big Bird.
The Most Precious Piñata
Wiley the Wheaten Terrier has dressed up as a precious piñata, but the treats in his belly are staying where they are.
Keep Your Enemies Close
The shoe is on the other paw for Chase, Pinky and Brain, who have gone behind enemy lines for this group costume. Let’s hope none of their friends from the dog park see them!
Raider Dawg
Frankie Bulldog fits the Raider stereotype of a villain in this intimidating costume. He might not make any new friends dressed like this, but he’s still a winner!
Where’s Waldo?
Oliver loves to dress up and this year’s costume as Waldo won him first place at a local costume contest, which is even more impressive considering nobody could spot him in the crowd.
Lola “Phone Home!”
Lola and Kristina took their costume game to new heights this year as the iconic E.T. and Elliott.
Child’s Play
Fido is your friend till the end, which is sinister when you see Crayon’s Chucky Doll costume.
Straight Outta Sumo
Fido is beefy enough to play “ruff” with the big dogs in this sublime sumo costume.
I Ain’t Afraid of No Ghosts!
If you don’t want a slobbery kiss from this adorable Slimer, who ya gonna call?
