When you want to really spoil your dog, or just meet other dog owners who are as crazy about their pets as you, there’s no better place to bring Fido than a dog event. Attend any of the dog shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Dog Events Calendar and you’ll meet, hundreds maybe even thousands, of dog lovers. And since 70% of the events listed benefit humane societies, attending one is a great way to help homeless pets too.
Music City Mutt Strutt
Leashed and friendly pups can come on out to strut their stuff. There will be a 5K or 1-mile fun run to participate in with your furry friend. Registration and packet pickup opens at 6:45 AM, and the race begins at 7:45 AM. Please refrain from using retractable leashes. Water will be provided throughout the day and small snacks after your race. There will be prizes awarded for eight different categories, including Fastest Dog (5K), Slowest Dog (5K), Best Dog Costume and more!

Mutts and Mayhem
Bring your dog for the inaugural obstacle course designed for humans and their canine companions! Guided on-leash by their trusty pet parents, Mutts and Mayhem participants will run, walk, jump, hop, swim, or splash to get through the course. Get muddy, have fun and win prizes!

Bark in the Park
Join over 1,100 people and their dogs as they leash up for a 10K or 5K run and a 2K walk in the park. There will also be canine activities, vendor booths, demonstrations and much more! There are different tiers within the registration; the first comes with just a doggy bandana, and the second also includes a t-shirt for the humans. Children age 12 and under are free to register and may purchase a t-shirt.

Dogs and Doughnuts Dash
Four-legged friends are invited to join their owners for some exercise and fun during this event! Participants can sign up to run a 5k or take a leisurely walk alongside their furry companions. Both human and dog attendees can enjoy a sweet treat, participate in raffles and watch live demos. The run/walk kicks off at 8:15 a.m.

Memorial Day Run
Bring your pup with you to celebrate, remember and honor all those that have served at this race. Choose from three different race distances; a 5K, 10K or half marathon. This event will be taking place on the White River Trail State Trail with the start and finish on N Railroad Street in the town of Lyons. Bib pickup begins at 8:45 am on the day of the race.

Fargo FurGo Dog Run
Have a furry running buddy? Then this is the run/walk for you! Exercise with your pup on this 1.5-mile course. Complete with a doggy goody bag, finisher’s shirt, finisher’s medal, and your dog’s very own finisher’s medal, it’s an event you will not want to miss! This race often fills up fast, so be sure to register early. Please note that retractable leashes aren't allowed, and dogs must be at least 6 months of age, not overly aggressive toward other dogs, and current on all vaccinations.

The Hacker Run 5K & Dog Dash
Grab your sneakers and Fido's leash to get a run-in before the Woofstock event. Participants are invited to bring their pooch to this memorial run, but Fido must be vaccinated, on a leash six feet or less, non-aggressive, and in good physical condition. Medal and tie-dyed shirts are awarded for finishing.

BridgeWay 5K Run
This family-friendly event spans across the Mauldin Gateway Bridge and a portion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, with proceeds from the 1-mile Fun Run benefiting Camp Worthy, a youth camp founded by Mauldin Police Officer Claudia Bonds. Finish the race with one free beer from BridgeWay Brewing Co. and festivities at Bridgeway Station. Leashed dogs are welcome, though please use discretion due to potentially hot ground along the route.

Leashed pups are invited to join you at this incredible festival full of adventure sports, art and music! This long weekend event is full of fun things like the BFGoodrich Rocky Dog Fun Run, canine dock diving, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, art activations, music and concerts.
