The park features a pond for fishing, trails for hiking, birdwatching and picnic areas. Follow the trail past the pond and just beyond the playground to the fenced dog park. Little Creek Dog Park Located approximately 10 minutes from Dover, DE, Little Creek Dog Park is a1.6-acre area adjacent to the town's post office and a popular place to take your pup. There are two separate fenced in areas that allow your dog to be off leash. One is for small dogs and older dogs, and another for larger and more active dogs. Dewey Beach Dewey Beach, DE is dog-friendly and Fido is allowed on the beach before 9:30 am and after 5:30 pm during the summer (mid-May through mid-September). Dogs are permitted on the beach at all times during the day from mid-September to mid-May and are allowed to be off leash if under your full control. You must clean up after your dog at all times, and all dogs must have a Dewey Beach dog license that can be obtained from Dewey Beach Town Hall or online. See Details
Delaware Seashore State Park Delaware Seashore State Park in Rehoboth Beach, DE, is pet friendly. Fido can join you on the sand and in the surf during select times of the year. From May 1 to September 30, dogs aren't permitted on any swimming or sunbathing beach (areas with lifeguards) but are allowed on non-guarded beaches year-round.
