Dogs must be leashed at all times and you must clean up after your pet. Only service animals are allowed inside buildings.

While pets are not allowed inside buildings on park grounds, they can participate in outdoor activities such as "Walk in Oney's Footsteps" at the President's House Site and "Pose Like the Signer" at Signers Garden. Fido must remain on a leash no longer than six feet during the entirety of his visit. Most of the grounds are open 24 hours a day to pedestrians.

The Struble Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Open April through November, the park offers four trails of varying degrees of difficulty, making the falls accessible to visitors of all ability levels. The park is closed from December through March, and operations are weather dependent in April and November.
