Fiesta Island Off-Leash Dog Park

Most of this large sandy island in Mission Bay is designated leash-free for dogs. Fiesta Island Off-Leash Dog Park has lots of sandy dunes to romp in, and the calm bay waters allow the more adventurous dogs take a quick dip. There is a designated off-leash location on the backside of the island as Sea World will be on your left, fenced-in front with signs. Bring water for your dogs.

Cabrillo Tide Pools Trail

Cabrillo Tide Pools Trail is an easy, 0.5 mile hike in Cabrillo National Monument that will take about 1 hour to complete with Fido. Although some people along the trail may tell you that your dog is not allowed, this trail is in fact the only area in Cabrillo National Monument where dogs are allowed. Fido will have to remain on a leash on the trail to the tide pools.

The Grove

The ultimate destination for entertainment, The Grove offers shopping, dining, and enjoyment in a pet-friendly (and child-friendly) atmosphere. Also, check out the adjacent park and historic farmers market!

Seventeen Mile Drive

When Fido is ready for a tail wagging, tongue hanging stroll through coastal California, take him for a drive along this picturesque stretch of highway through the communities of Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach, CA. Pick up a map when you pay the toll required for entry and make several stops along the way for photos of the scenic views.
