Excellent hotel experience
Best Western Plus Valdosta Hotel & SuitesReally great hotel for two humans and two dogs. Wonderful spacious suite, we were on the first floor near the lobby. Seriously, everything was easy. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was good.
Great hotel
Residence Inn Nashville SE/MurfreesboroI really liked this hotel, one of the best I’ve stayed at with our dogs. Excellent studio room, great sidewalks for walking, great experience. We will be back.
Good experience
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham ValdostaVery nice, new hotel - friendly staff, easy location, plenty of green areas to walk the dog, clean, quiet, all of the things I look for. The place was filled with wonderful dog people and the staff clearly enjoys having the dogs. We’ll be back!
Great hotel
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Elizabethtown KYGreat location, very clean room, everything we needed. Only odd thing, the hotel desk people were not vocal in the least. Not rude just basically didn’t say anything. But easy to get past that. Everything else was great.
Hotel was ok
Best Western Plus Bowling GreenHonestly not my favorite hotel for a couple of reasons. Our room had an outside entrance, and while it’s convenient for taking my dog out, I don’t feel as safe as with an inside entrance. Also, this hotel is being renovated, which is fine, but I honestly can’t believe the shoddy workmanship. It was evident everywhere, not just a flaw or two. I guess it was clean enough but I didn’t want to look too close. There are just better options for the price.
Very pet friendly, great hotel
Hampton Inn & Suites TiftonExcellent stay - desk people were SO friendly, easy access, good areas to walk my dog, no pet fee. I’ll be back.
Decent property
Holiday Inn Express Columbia an IHG HotelI would stay here again. Clean and safe, easy with a dog. Downsides: they charge a $50 cleaning fee plus $15 a night per dog, and very little outside area to walk.
Great hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus - EdinburghExcellent hotel for the price - convenient location, very pet friendly, clean, desk person was friendly. Only slight downside, the hotel was FILLED with youth basketball players. The kids were fine, the adults sat near the lobby and drank, they were exceptionally noisy. At some point, the desk person shut them down so it ended up fine.
Excellent Hotel
Holiday Inn Express and Suites-Elizabethtown North an IHG HotelVery nice hotel, clean, updated. FYI, they charged $50 additional for my dog. I’m ok with that, but others may not be. Very dog friendly, easy in and out, good experience.
Decent hotel, very pet friendly
Best Western Gateway GrandThe best part of this hotel is how pet friendly they are. The hotel itself is a little tired and probably in need of updates, but it’s clean and well laid out. The grounds are great for dogs, a nice mowed field adjacent to the property. I’ll definitely be back.
Excellent experience
Hampton Inn AdelI gave this a five star for several key reasons. The hotel itself was clean but a bit tired, which honestly, if everything else stacks up, I let slide. Lots of dogs staying at the hotel, very accommodating and dog friendly. The best parts were the grounds - very well lit, probably the best I’ve seen. They have a fenced in dog area that’s very nice. Easy in and out, we’ll stay here again.
Excellent hotel
Best Western Plus Dalton InnWe travel with a black lab and always stay at La Quinta. This one was particularly perfect - lots of well-behaved dogs, great facilities, easy access to I75, and parking lot and grounds very well lit. The woman working when we checked in was the only one working and the hotel was sold out - she was great. We will definitely stay here again.
Hotel needs TLC
La Quinta by Wyndham Bowling GreenBiggest pros of this hotel - great location, friendly people, very welcoming to dogs.
Biggest cons - holy cow, this place needs to be steam-cleaned. The room was decent if you didn’t look to hard - corners, along baseboards, etc were filthy. Hallways and elevators, wow, corners or crevices were filthy as well.
Nice hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga - East RidgeWe’ve stayed here before, very nice, clean hotel. Grounds aren’t great for walking dogs, but good enough. This is our go-to place in Chattanooga.
Hotel was ok
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake CityThe advertisement said that the hotel was brand new, but I have my doubts. Parts of it were great - the lobby, the room, but other parts were dirty - floors, elevators, the dog walk area was littered with trash, no dog waste bags and trash bin overflowing. But, the good outweighs the not-so-good - the price, location, room, convenience, and easy for me and my dog. I would probably stay here again. Some areas just needed a little TLC.
Hotel is OK
Best Western Athens InnThis hotel is not as nice as many I’ve stayed in, but adequate. It appears to be an upgraded old hotel, with the room doors opening directly to the outside. Handy for traveling with a dog. Clean, but tired - scrapes and scuffs on doors, just needs work. Staff very pleasant, stayed during COVID-19 and they were taking it very seriously.
Decent experience
Hampton Inn Decatur ForsythHampton Decatur is not as good as some, but still quite accommodating for our large dog. The outside walking area is adequate - a little dark, and we had to walk a ways from the hotel. The hotel is older, but clean and quiet.
Wonderful experience
Wingate by Wyndham Valdosta/Moody AFBThis hotel was wonderful for a dog, and humans too! Lit dog run, plenty of spaces to walk, and a general, easy-going atmosphere that lends itself to canine guests. Hotel is clean, surrounded by restaurants, a little tricky to get to but I was tired! Highly recommend, I’ll stay here on my return trip.
La Quinta Goodlettsville has it figured out!
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Goodlettsville - NashvilleGreat experience with my dog. Hotel was great, love the nicely lit areas around the hotel, bench and dog waste bags. I will definitely stay again, and recommend this to my dog lover friends.
