Guests traveling with dogs must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a dog-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Cats and other pets considered with prior approval from hotel. Pets must be crated when left unattended in rooms.

Presque Isle Passage RV Park & Cabin Rentals

Beau's Dream Dog Park at Buchanan Park

Completely revamped in August of 2013, this dog park has become a hit with many of the locals. There is a small and large dog area, both with splash pads, a doxi tunnel on the small dog side, and a tennis ball tree that launches tennis balls on the large dog side.

Wissahickon Valley Park (Forbidden Drive)

The Wissahickon Valley Park (Forbidden Drive) is a multi-use trail that's a great place to walk Fido in Philadelphia! The map below shows a parking area with convenient access to the Wissahickon Valley Park (Forbidden Drive). Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided map data for this trail to Bring Fido for informational purposes only. Stoudtburg Village

Quaint bavarian style hamlet with 30 shops with plenty of green areas for your pet to walk around and stretch their legs! Many pet-friendly stores and a "green" dog store next to the village (but within walking distance). Pet friendly events held regularly, including a pet rescue fundraiser, bands, and craft shows.

Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway

Ride the rails into the beautiful Lehigh Gorge State Park. Old style diesel-powered train with passenger coaches from the 1920s. The 16 mile roundtrip train ride lasts about one hour. Mountain vistas, trackside streams and flowing rivers, and fellow adventurers enjoying hiking, biking and white water rafting are just a few of the visual delights waiting for you on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to ride the train free-of-charge.

Knoebels Amusement Resort

Make new memories the old fashioned way with classic roller coasters, kid-friendly rides, swimming, camping, golf and attractions for the whole family! Well-behaved pets are permitted, but owners will be responsible for controlling and cleaning up after them, as well as deciding how their pet would react to an amusement park environment. Pets must be leashed or in a carrier at all times. The are not allowed on most of the rides but are welcome to ride on the little train that circles the park. Park reserves the right to ask guests with pets to leave the park if policy is not adhered to. Admission and parking is free. Tickets or wristbands must be purchased to ride.
