Whether you’re looking to “pawty” with friends or get some R&R with family, we’ve got you covered on where you should take Fido on a springtime vacation. From accommodations with views of snow-capped mountains to white sand beaches, here are some of BringFido’s most “pup-ular” hotels for spring break.

Arizona may be landlocked, but Lake Havasu is a wildly popular spring break destination in the region. This large reservoir attracts vacationers and their dogs from all over. If you have your own boat (or plan on renting one from Sandbar Powersports), you’ll definitely want to book dog-friendly accommodations at The Nautical Beachfront Resort, where you can leave your boat docked right outside of your room. The pet-friendly hotel is the only beachfront property in the state so you can lay out on the sand and enjoy lake and mountain views under the palm trees. The Nautical Beachfront Resort welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay, plus a $200 refundable deposit.

There’s something about spring in the Smokies. When you check in at The Park Vista, A DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a chocolate chip cookie and a gift bag for your dog. The pet bag contains treats, a hang tag to display on your hotel room door, and waste bags. The hotel boasts an impressive 15-story atrium, views of the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg from every guest room balcony, a grassy dog-walking area, and a multi-tiered, heated indoor swimming pool. Check out all of the sights in the Big Apple during spring break with your pup. The Lexington New York City, Autograph Collection is a popular pet-friendly hotel option in the city. Built in 1929 and showcasing the art deco architecture and style of that iconic period, this hotel in Midtown was once home to Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio. In addition to being located within walking distance of several dog-friendly restaurants, the hotel is located a block away from Pete Detmold Park and Dog Run and there is a green space onsite for pet relief, too. During your tour of the city with family and Fido, explore Central Park, take a ferry ride, or stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge. The Lexington welcomes two pets up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $75 per stay.

La Copa Inn & Suites Beachfront Resort

If you’re planning to spend spring break in Texas, pack Fido’s beach gear and head to South “Pawdre” Island for a fun-filled time. Make La Copa Inn & Suites Beachfront Resort your home base during your trip. The resort’s pet-friendly, oceanfront guest rooms feature private balconies that overlook the pools, hot tub and sundeck. There’s a Starbucks Coffee in the lobby and a free breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets. An onsite restaurant serves lunch, dinner and cocktails and allows dogs on its poolside patio. Just beyond the pool, a boardwalk extends over the dunes to the dog-friendly beach where Fido can make a splash as long as he is on a leash. La Copa Inn & Suites Beachfront Resort welcomes two pets up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $25 per pet for the first night, and $5 per pet for each additional night.

Spring is a wonderful time to visit the Windy City with your pup and Aloft Chicago Downtown River North is a conveniently located hotel in the heart of the city. The pet-friendly hotel doesn’t charge a pet fee and has stylish rooms and an onsite bar and restaurant. Whether your spring break vacation in Chi-town is for a weekend or a week, you’ll find plenty of activities to keep you and your furry friend busy. Take in the sites at the boardwalk at Navy Pier, or treat yourself and your pup to some retail therapy along The Magnificent Mile, the city’s famed stretch of shopping where canines are welcome, both of which are a short walk from the Aloft. Spend a day on the water at Montrose Dog Beach where you can SUP with your pup with a rental from Kayak Chicago. Then, enjoy a cocktail on the expansive patio of The Dock, a casual beach bar with unparalleled views of the Chicago skyline and the beaches of Lake Michigan. Aloft Chicago Downtown River North welcomes two dogs up to 40 lbs for no additional fee. Larger dogs may be considered with prior approval.

Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa, All-Inclusive

Cancun has always been a popular spring break destination. Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa, All-Inclusive is located away from the hard-partying crowds in the town of Puerto Morelos, in the heart of Mexico’s Riviera Maya along the Caribbean Sea. The pet-friendly resort is situated between Cancun and Playa del Carmen if you want to visit those larger, more touristy towns. However, with the all-inclusive plan including all-you-can-eat-and-drink food and beverages and a full day of planned activities, you’ll be just as happy staying onsite with your pup. At the resort, your furry friend will be spoiled with food and water bowls, a Dreams Resorts & Spas-branded dog bed, toys and an onsite fenced area where your pup can play off leash. Dogs are allowed at many of the outdoor dining areas, some of which overlook the turquoise-blue ocean. Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa allows one dog up to 22 lbs in select room categories for an additional fee of $65 USD per night.

In pet-friendly Washington, DC, you can spend your spring break sightseeing at national monuments, gardens and historical landmarks with your dog. Bring Fido to the nation’s capital for a getaway at Westin Washington DC City Center where he’ll be given a loaner Heavenly pet bed and bowls to use during your stay. The hotel is centrally located so you can easily spend your vacation enjoying fun dog-friendly activities like Adventure DC Tricycle Tours, Smithsonian Gardens and the National Mall, and dining on delicious al fresco meals at restaurants like Cafe Saint-Ex. The Westin Washington DC City Center welcomes pets up to 40 lbs for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per stay.

Have a fun spring break at the Tides Folly Beach Hotel, located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in a funky South Carolina beach town and just minutes from downtown Charleston. Folly Beach allows dogs on the beach year-round and, during spring break, they are welcome at any time of day. The hotel has an onsite pet relief area and a restaurant where Fido can join you for a meal. The property is also within walking distance of many other dog-friendly restaurants and bars including Lost Dog Cafe, Rita’s, and Loggerhead’s Beach Grill. The dog park and swimming hole of James Island County Park is just a short drive away. Tides Folly Beach Hotel welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $95 per stay.

Fireside Lodge

Spend spring break with your furry friend at Fireside Lodge Lake Tahoe, a quaint log cabin-style inn located in South Lake Tahoe. Each room is decorated in a unique country mountain theme and comes equipped with a fireplace. Pet covers, bowls, treats, and dog towels are provided and there is a pet relief area with waste stations on the property. The inn backs up to a Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit which has miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head over to McP's Taphouse, where dogs are allowed year-round on the heated patio for brews, burgers and live music. Then, head back to the hotel before 9 p.m. to enjoy a complimentary s’mores roast by the firepits. In the morning, refuel at the Lodge’s ample breakfast bar, stocked with bagels, waffles and oatmeal. Fireside Lodge permits pets of any size for an additional fee of $35 per pet, per night.

“I’m going to Disney World!” Did you know that dogs can join their owners in pet-friendly accommodations at "The Most Magical Place On Earth"? Bring your pup to Disney's Art of Animation Resort where four-legged spring “barkers” will be showered with pet amenities including mats, bowls, waste bags, a door hanger, and a map directing pet owners to the resort's four pet relief areas. Pet parents can cool off in the largest pool at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and relax in animated film-themed rooms. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is also convenient for parkgoers, as it is adjacent to the Disney Skyliner, which transports passengers to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While you have fun in the parks, Fido can make new friends at Doggie Day Camp at Best Friends Pet Hotel or hang out in the room if you place the 'Room Occupied' hanger on the door. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $50 per pet, per night.

Sheraton Grand Seattle

Centrally located at 6th and Pike St., the newly renovated Sheraton Grand Seattle is within walking distance of Pike Place Market and Westlake Park. A short drive away from the hotel, Fido can take a chilly spring swim in Lake Washington at the Magnuson Off-Leash Dog Area, one of the nation’s best dog parks. Afterwards, bring Fido to Norm’s Eatery & Ale House for cod sticks, bacon nuggets or a bacon pupcake from the dog menu. When it’s time to retire back to the hotel, your pup can rest comfortably on a plush pet bed, and eat and drink from bowls provided by the hotel. Sheraton Grand Seattle accepts two dogs up to 80 lbs for an additional fee of $30 per night.
