Perfect location

Visiting with friends in Richardson on our cross country, this was a lovely stay for us! It was convenient to where we needed to meet up. Hotel is beautiful and allowed for a wonderful sleep to recharge. Only drawback for us was that being on the 4th floor made it less convenient to go out for a quick pee before packing up, but fortunately our 2 Goldens could hold it until we were ready to go. Oh a little irritating that it was $100 extra for our pups but I knew it ahead of time so would be unfair of me to knock the hotel on this. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect location!

We are on a cross country trip with our 2 golden retrievers. It was a perfect location right off I-40 yet less than 2 miles to Old Town! Plus Starbucks and gas station right next door; made it easy to get back on the highway! The staff was very friendly, room was very clean. Would definitely recommend! We will be staying here again!

Fabulous find!

This was our first stop on our cross country trip and it definitely made it difficult for the other hotels to compete with. It suited our needs quite well because it had easy highway access, easy access to dinner AND very convenient for us, ability to park outside our room! With 2 golden retrievers on a special diet, we end up traveling with more bags than I care to admit! Clean and perfectly situated for us. Some people have written that it’s outdated; I thought the charm and convenience was far more important. Plus there’s a huge green space in the back. My pups are able to roam off leash without worrying they’ll run off so it was great to give them space to get their zoomies out before hitting the road again!

Great stay!

Great spot for us on our cross country trip. Staff was incredibly friendly. Second floor room was very convenient for us. Only thing that might have been nice would have been a little larger green space although our 2 Goldens did just fine! I would definitely stay here again; good value.

Short but great stay!

The staff was excellent. The room was very spacious and very clean. Great location. We walked to Old Port, to shops in downtown as well as a walk up and around Mount Royal.

Hidden nugget!

This is my second time staying here. The room has been renovated since the last time I stayed here. It was perfect for me and my 2 pups. The room is nicely decorated and provides for some amenities to make for a comfortable stay. It’s walkable from downtown Lake Placid and it has a grass area that overlooks the lake. We didn’t make a fire although that’s an option. We sat out there and enjoyed the fresh air. They also have a “kitchen” which is a lovely communal area where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee provided by the lodge OR use their oven, microwave etc to make/heat up your own food. Staff was really helpful throughout our stay.

Perfect!

This is my second time staying with my dogs! And it was even better this time!! They happen to put us in the same room, room number 200 so I’m assuming that that’s a specific dog room. But it is so clean and so lovely. I love the decor and the staff couldn’t been friendlier. The restaurant that is right next door has an adjoining door so it was super easy to get a to go order. And the coffee shop that is right off the lobby greet my puppies with dog biscuits. The staff was super helpful telling us about a trail that was less than a half a mile from the hotel which led to an awesome dog park. It’s actually not a dog park but all of the locals bring their dogs there and the dogs run free. Great stay and I will definitely be back.

Great location !

Great location! The accommodation was perfect for me and my two dogs. We are on a cross-country trip so the hotel being so close to IAD and a decent size grass yard in the back was perfect for us. The staff was so friendly and even gave my dogs dog biscuits. Definitely worth the money. It was clean and served our needs.

Great location!

The hotel was perfectly located right off of I-70 which was a nice relief for me as I had just driven about 12 hours that day. The pups and I were greeted by a friendly staff and a very clean room. We were able to park in the back of the hotel which made it super easy to get to our room! I had looked at other reviews on here and was surprised by the varying opinions about cleanliness. At least our experience agrees with the ones that said that the room was clean. In fact, the carpet was brand new and the room felt freshly painted! I appreciated the refrigerator and the microwave which made it easy for me to heat up food and not leave the pups. Breakfast wasn’t fancy but it was delicious. Fresh fruit and oatmeal was a perfect start for my day.

Awesome location!

I can’t rave about this hotel enough. The location was perfect; right off of I 70. The staff was so friendly and the hotel was so clean. I saw some other reviews complaining about the relatively small patch of green space for the dogs and the fact that it’s not fenced in but it’s in a very safe, somewhat low traffic area. Plus there is a neighborhood that is very close that is easy to take your dogs for a walk. I had driven a long way and was exhausted. I was so delighted to see a Mexican restaurant right next-door or I could get takeout. I will definitely be staying there when we’re going this way again.

Awesome!

Morris Inn is perfectly located on Notre Dame‘s campus. I’m on a cross country road trip with my two dogs; and decided to stop at Notre Dame to visit my niece and nephew before taking off again. The hotel is very clean and very accommodating to my pups. They had a dog dish and dog biscuits in the lobby. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there the next time I am driving through or visiting in South Bend or Notre Dame!

Great location to town and Acadia!

Great spot for us with the dogs. Located walking distance to village of Bar Harbor, right around the block from grocery store and a short drive to Acadia!
