Wawona Meadow Loop Wawona Meadow Loop is a dog-friendly trail in Yosemite National Park, CA. The centerpiece of the meadow that this hike takes in is a nine-hole golf course. This 3.6 mile hike is a wonderful chance to experience a variety of colorful wildflowers. Leashed dogs are welcome as long as they are never left unattended. See Details
Pet Friendly Bartholomew Park
Bartholomew Park Explore the 3-mile trail within Bartholomew Park with your dog. Take in the duck pond and windmill, weave through mature oaks, madrones, redwoods and vineyards, and follow wildflowers up the log steps and cresting at a view of San Francisco Bay. Free parking is available within the park, in the designated area. The trail is moderate to difficult in places and dogs must remain on leash at all times. Wine bottles to go can be purchased at Bartholomew Estate Winery to enjoy at the picnic tables inside the park. See Details
Gray Lodge Wildlife Area Fido must remain leashed or secured in your vehicle when exploring Gray Lodge Wildlife Area in Gridley, CA. Gray Lodge Wildlife Area is a 9,200-acre expanse of protected wetlands offering trails, bird-watching, fishing & hunting. Visitors can enjoy a seasonal nature tour or embark on a self-guided walk through this vast open area which is abundant with wildlife. Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve is a dog-friendly preservation area in San Diego, CA. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails on leashes no longer than 8-feet long. Scenery in the canyon includes waterfalls, streamside forest, sycamore trees, a freshwater marsh, and wildlife like mule deer, bobcat, coyote and, raccoons. Mount Woodson Trail The Mount Woodson trail is a dog-friendly hike in Poway, CA. The trailhead is located on the east side of Lake Poway. The hike to the summit is considered extremely challenging as it contains a 2,000-foot climb in elevation. This eight-mile round-trip hike takes about 3 to 4 hours on average, so be sure to plan and pack accordingly. Fido must stay leashed while hiking. See Details

William Heise County Park William Heise County Park is a dog-friendly recreation area in Julian, CA. This tranquil park is home to interpretive trails you can explore with your pooch. It's not for all hikers and could prove a little strenuous at times.
