Lake Eola Park Although technically not a dog park, the nearly 1-mile walking path around Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, Florida is very pet-friendly. There are several dog-related events that take place at Lake Eola each year, and almost any time of the day you'll find pet owners taking their four-legged friends for a walk around the lake. Poop bag dispensers are conveniently located on the lake path so that you can clean up after your pet. In addition to the lake path, visitors can also rent swan boats to enjoy with pets up to 5 lbs. There is also an amphitheater where concerts and other events are regularly held, as well as a couple of pet-friendly restaurants next to the lake, which will allow you to dine outdoors with your pooch. Chambers Bay Off Leash Park & Beach There is off-leash beach access area for dogs south of the Bridge, adjacent to Chambers Bay Golf Course.The entire park is 7 acres with a 1 acre off-leash area, and a separate area for small, shy, and senior dogs. Douglas Family Preserve Douglas Family Preserve is one of two off-leash dog parks in Santa Barbara, CA. This 70-acre property features hiking trails, as well as a beach where your dog can run leash free. Dog owners should bring poop bags and fresh water for their pups. Dogs must stay on leash while entering the park and until the off-leash areas signs are encountered within the park. There are over three miles of park trails, some providing views of the Pacific coastline. See Details
Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park Commonly referred to as Hanna Park, Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park welcomes leashed dogs throughout the year in the park and at the beach. This 450-acre park offers a water park, freshwater lake, pet friendly campground, hiking and biking trails, one of Jacksonville's best surfing beaches and more. Most areas of the park are dog friendly. Just keep Fido on a leash (8 feet or less) at all times, clean up after your pup, and obey all posted signs. There is a small fee for admission. See Details
Piedmont Park Dog Park Piedmont Park Dog Park is an off-leash park in the downtown area of Atlanta, Georgia. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting the off-leash area of the park. Owners must clean up after their pets. No more than 3 dogs per person are permitted in the park. There is a specific area designated for small dogs under 30 pounds. No puppies under 16 weeks old are permitted in the off-leash portion of the park. The park has benches available for owners to sit while their dogs play. See Details

Golden Gate Park Golden Gate Park is one of San Francisco's most popular pet-friendly parks. Dogs have a dedicated off-leash area near the entrance at Fulton St. and 38th Ave. There are four separate off-leash areas: the southeast section between Lincoln Way, King Drive and 2nd and 7th Avenues; the Northeast section at Stanyan and Grove Streets; the Southcentral area between King Drive, Middle Drive, and 34th and 38th Avenues; and the fenced training area at 38th Ave. and Fulton. Naples Dog Park Naples Dog Park is at Riverside Circle near the intersection of Central Avenue and Goodlette-Frank Road. The park's site is on the northeast corner of Goodlette-Frank Road and Central Avenue. The park is within walking distance of downtown. The park is approximately 2.5 acres and has separate off-leash areas for large and small dogs, benches, water fountains for both man and beast, a shaded structure, dog washing stations, poop-bag dispensers, waste cans and plenty of running room.

Whalon Lake Dog Park The Forest Preserve District of Will County's 8-acre fenced Whalon Lake Dog Park provides an exercise area where dogs can run free. The Dog Park also features a smaller 2.5-acre park for dogs under 30 pounds. A shelter and benches provide comfort for the canines' human companions. A permit is required for use of the Dog Park. Other amenities at Whalon Lake include multi-purpose trails, picnic shelters, and access to an 80-acre lake for boating and fishing. See Details
