Pet Friendly Clearwater North Beach
Clearwater North Beach Leashed dogs are allowed on the north section only of Clearwater North Beach, which starts at Somerset Street in Clearwater, FL. Bring your pooch for a stroll along the sand and in the surf, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after. Although there's no parking north of Somerset, public meter parking can be found on Mandalay Ave, south of Somerset. See Details
Pet Friendly Jupiter Dog Beach
Jupiter Dog Beach Jupiter Dog Beach is home to one of Florida's best off-leash beach areas. Dogs are free to roam a designated section of the beach running along A1A near Ocean Cay Park. This 2.5 mile stretch of beach is located from beach marker #26 at Marcinski Road, going north to beach marker #57 (at the Carlin Park property line) and welcomes well-behaved, obedient dogs. Since dogs are not required to be on-leash on the beach, only non-aggressive dogs that respond to voice commands from their owners are permitted. Friends of Jupiter Beach provides dog waste bags at every crossover along the dog-friendly beach areas. Visitors can park their cars for free in the lot at the intersection of Ocean Blvd and Marcinski Rd or in one of the spaces along A1A. Dogs are not allowed in lifeguard areas or Town of Jupiter parks (Carlin Park). See Details
Gulfside City Park One of the many pet-friendly beaches of Sanibel Island, Gulfside City Park is located near a City of Sanibel and Federal nature preserve. The beach is also home to threatened and endangered nesting shorebirds and sea turtles during much of the year. Dogs must be kept on a leash (maximum 8 feet) at all times, and owners are required by law to clean up after their pets. There are picnic tables, wash stations, and restrooms available, and an hourly parking fee is charged between the hours of 7 am to 7 pm (free after 7 pm). See Details
Vilano Beach Dogs are welcome at Vilano Beach which is northeast of St. Augustine, FL on the A1A Scenic and historical byway. Dogs should be on a leash at all times. Owners are required to properly dispose of all pet waste immediately. See Details
Bowman's Beach Bowman's Beach is a beautiful, dog-friendly, secluded beach in Sanibel, FL, with hiking trails. Amenities include picnic tables, grills, pay phone, bathrooms and bike racks. Dogs are allowed on leash. See Details
Cape San Blas Beaches Enjoy the beautiful dog-friendly beaches of Cape San Blas with your favorite furry friend! Play in the sand and surf, go scalloping (in season), or enjoy a cozy beach campfire with your dog by your side. Frank B. Butler County Park Frank B. Butler County Park is a dog-friendly coastal park providing direct beach access in St. Augustine, FL. Visitors will find a parking area, picnic tables, restrooms, and two shaded pavilions. The park is not a fenced area for pets, and dogs must be leashed at the park and when enjoying the beach. Honeymoon Island State Park Leashed dogs are welcome at Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin, FL. In addition to having their own beach on the southern tip of the island, dogs are also allowed on the nature trail. Pets must be on a 6-foot handheld leash at all times while in these areas. Pass A Grille Dog Beach Leashed pups are permitted on a designated section Pass A Grille Dog Beach in St. Pete Beach, FL. The portion of beach south of the Merry Pier between First and Third avenues welcomes your dog on a leash. Limited paid parking is available. See Details
Cocoa Beach Dogs are welcome on Cocoa Beach between 4th Street South and the north side of Murkshe Park. Waste disposal points are available at the pet-friendly entrance and owners are reminded to clean up after their pooch when visiting. Although Fido must be on a leash under six feet for the duration of their visit, the dog park at Lori Wilson Park is a leash-free area; more information can be found on the Lori Wilson Dog Park page on our site. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at Lori Wilson, only in the designated Dog Park. Dogs are permitted on this area of beach from 6am to 10am and 5pm to 7pm during standard time, and 9pm during daylight savings time. See Details
Lee County Dog Beach Lee County Dog Beach, also known as Bonita Beach Dog Park, is located along the edge of Lover's Key State Park in Fort Myers Beach, FL. This dog-friendly, off-leash beach allows dogs to run free and frolic in the shallow, calm water of the Gulf of Mexico. There are no fences, leashes, or worries. Just plenty of dogs of all sizes to play with. Many people visit that don't even have dogs but enjoy watching them run and play with their furry friends on land and water. You can't see it from the main road, but follow the signs around the trees and a clearing will open up to Dog Beach. During high tide, you may have to wade through some water to get to it so be prepared. There is a portable toilet, and no running water so remember to bring some for your pet. Please follow the rules to make it a safe, clean enjoyable place for all. See Details
Brohard Paw Park Brohard Paw Park is the only beach area in Venice, FL, where dogs are welcome. This dog-friendly beach offers doggy and human drinking fountains, dog showers, fire hydrants, leash posts, picnic tables, and benches. Please observe the posted signage stating where the dog beach ends. See Details
Walton Rocks Dog Beach Walton Rocks Dog Beach in Vero Beach, FL, is a 24-acre off-leash dog park where canines can romp in the sand and surf. The park also features covered picnic tables, restrooms, and plenty of room to roam. See Details
Performance Pups Freshwater Dog Beach Performance Pups Freshwater Dog Beach in Dania Beach is home to the cleanest freshwater dog lake in Broward County! This fenced-in area allows dogs to swim and play off-leash. Swimming by humans is not allowed at the park. You can walk and wade in the water but the city ordinance forbids swimming for the two-legged. Admission is cash only. See Details

Fort DeSoto State Park Fort DeSoto State Park is a dog-friendly beachside state park in Tierra Verde, FL. Escape to the white sands and crystal clear waters of this popular 1,136 acre park. There are 15 picnic shelters, restrooms, fishing piers, and playgrounds. There are several trails suitable for people and pups of any skill level. The dog park allows dogs to access the beach in a designated area, and there are two separate fenced areas near the beach for small and large dogs. The fenced dog park sections include water stations. A nominal fee is required to enter the park. See Details
Pensacola Beach West Dog Park Pensacola Beach West Dog Park is a pet-friendly area in Pensacola Beach, FL. The west end park is located at the first parking lot past the last condos on the Gulf. Haulover Beach Park Haulover Beach Park in Miami Beach features a bark park with an enclosure for small dogs (less than 35 lbs.) and on for large dogs (over 35 lbs.) located near the south picnic area. Entrance to the bark park is through parking lot #3 located on the west side of Collins Avenue if traveling southbound ,or through parking lot #4 located on the east side of Collins Avenue if traveling northbound. The bark park features shade trees, picnic tables, and drinking fountains for both dogs and their companions, as well as doggie waste stations. The park is open daily from 8am to 4pm in the designated beach area between lifeguard tower #2 and #3 only. Dogs are welcome with their companion on the portion of the beach directly across from the bark park and accessible through parking lots #3 and #4.
