Pets in the Cabin
Small dogs, cats, birds, and rodents (rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs) can travel in the cabin with Montenegro Airlines if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Each passenger is permitted to travel with 1 pet in their carrier. The fee for this service is 20 EUR for flights between Montenegro and Serbia; and 30 EUR for flights between Montenegro and all other European countries.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Montenegro Airlines allows animals to travel as checked baggage if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 110 lbs (50 kg). 3 young animals from the same litter can be placed in the same carrier. 2 full-sized animals that weigh under 31 lbs (14 kg) can travel in the same carrier as well if they are used to living together. The fee for pets traveling as checked baggage varies depending on the size of your animal and the destination of your travel. Pets and carriers weighing up to 44 lbs (20 kg) incur a charge of 30 EUR on domestic flights and 60 EUR on European flights; 46-88 lbs (21-40 kg) incur a charge of 45 EUR on domestic flights and 90 EUR on European flights; and 41-50 kg (90-110 lbs) incur a charge of 100 EUR on domestic flights and 150 EUR on European flights.
Pets in Cargo

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 21" x 16" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). They must be well ventilated; leak-proof; and made of plastic, fiberglass, or wood. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 35" x 23" x 26" (91 cm x 60 cm x 66 cm). They must be large enough for Fido to stand up, turn around, and lie comfortably inside. All carriers in the hold should be made of fiberglass or hard plastic, which can be locked.
Montenegro Airlines does not accept reptiles on board.
